No language has a clear way of speaking, I think...:/ All languages more or less sound weird to people who don't understand them. The Bengali language itself has a lot of dialects too, we learn them from listening to people speak them, from our parents and family members...

@RinitaBag it's not a dialect. You need to do research. Sylheti had their own alphabets. When a language has its own alphabets, it means it's a language of it's own. Sylhet was part of Assam before merging with bengal during the partition of India, establishing pakistan

@user-Aoyon do your research Sylheti had their own alphabets and sylhet was part of assam before the partition of India and Pakistan. Sylhetis joined bengal under muslim brotherhood, and opted to become part of pakistan. Sylhetis are not bengalis, even the kolkatta bengalis don't class sylhetis as bengalis.

Making these vids is stupid, noone thinks Bengali sounds weird, its known for poetry and elegant sound so titling the video about it "sounding weird" just spreads the false idea that its a widespread view.
