Hi James! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. I have been trying many watches over the years and never really understood why some big watches fit me better and look great while some small watches are too big. You gave me the answer to this question that I always had. Loved the way you gave examples too. You are a great communicator and know your stuff well. I know many people who have been selling watches for years and don't have a clue of what is going on. Thanks again.

Awesome video James! And the thumbnail was brilliant! Something that I never considered much when I actually started collecting. I would say my sweet spot for lug to lug would be 47-50. Information every watch collector esp starting out needs to know, great job pal!

That’s a nice size. I had a bit of fun with that thumbnail

Hi James, once again this video goes to proove that absolute certainties do not always exist, specially when talking about watches where personal tastes are often the final answer. Nice explanation for all, but very usefull por beginers. Regards

Thank you. I appreciate the feedback. These type of watch related topics interest me and I hope that the videos I make are interesting to those who watch.

Thanks James. I was similarly impressed with how smaller case width watches looked fine with longer lugs making the lug to lug width longer than expected and making smaller watches not look silly. This seems to be more common with some dress styles vs divers.

Good job with the explanation and goes to show that sizes don't always tell the full story

Thanks mate. It’s funny how my understanding of this has changed over my watch collecting experience.

Nice video. It's interesting, my wrists are so small, but I generally find that I don't mind watches with lug to lugs even up to 50mm. I think another important dimension would be the top surface of the wrist.

Hello ‘ i have pretty extra small wrist 5.9 inch wrist ‘ do you think 41 mm lug to lug distance watch fit me well ‘ whats my max lug to lug distance will be (mm ) ? Thanks
@WATCHingJames2 жыл бұрын
I would think 46mm would be the biggest. But it does depend on the watch. What the case shape is etc… Also depends on how you like the watch to look on wrist.

Awesome work on the difference between the lug to lug measurements and I think they don't show the lug to lug on watches "don't quote me" because most people will be turned off by that so they are taking the chance that you'd buy it
