I am reading the Quran albeit an English translation and every two or three verses goes on about the punishment for those who associate others with Allah. By the way I have just learned that Allah is not even the name of a god it means 'The god'. Surah 53 verses 19 and 20 spells out he had three daughters pre-Islamic formation. So the Arabs borrowed a god.

People are catching up to the religion of “Peace”. It is anything but peaceful. If the same thing keeps happening in Middle East, Germany, UK, Nigeria, Philippines, Netherlands, Norway, etc. it is not an isolated incident. @@a.thales7641 I was born and grew up in the west, living in a town of very few Muslims. Growing up I remember being surrounded by a constant negative portrayal of Muslims and Islam. I was bullied in school because of my race and creed. I felt lonely and horrible because I was being shut out from society when All I wanted was integration and to be accepted. Back then we had Jehovah's witnesses who used to knock on our doors to talk to us, we would politely listen to them trying to convert us and would politely engage and disagree with them. I will be honest, I nearly became one of them, only because they were willing to accept me. Then my beloved uncle passed away. During the funeral and the condolences, I realised how a community can come together to be a real comfort. This made me look into my religion and all I saw was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, despite all the negative media portrayals. I'm in my forties and my faith has helped me to cope with the struggles of life and has made me a better human being.

There are over 700 mentionings of terror and fear and over 150 calls for violence in the Koran. I was also shocked. And a lot of bad stuff doesnt reveal its atrocity at first sight. What does it mean when it says peace will be when religion is all for Allah' or divorce rules for not menstruating girls... I cannot understand that this book is allowed while Mein Kampf is verboten.

could you please consider this historical aspect in one your episodes, in light of the discrepancy in presence of Mohammad in Mecca, creation of Quran and Islam: one of arabs biggest conquests which helped them a lot in growth of Islam has been conquest of Persia. Some historians say that they attacked Persia under the pretext of Islam, and talked of Mahammad, and their religion as they were taking over. So Persia shortly after death of Mohammad, according to Islam and muslims, was taken over and two hundred years, khalifat forcefully converted persians, until the Abbasid's khalifats, which apparently emerged in Khorasan, Persia, and Baghdad was then built as their capital. I just cannot get my head around that period between the death of Mohammad and overtaking of Persia. If arabs did not identify themselves as muslims, what united them to start taking over. up until then, they were nomadic tribes, spread in arabian peninsula. how do we explain their culture and ruling starting to take over the entire region, without Islam as their point of union. thanks.

Jengiz Khan uited the warring tribes of Mongoloia and very quickly conquered most of Asia. Muhammad united the warring tribes of Arabia and very quickly conquered North Africa, Persia etc. In both cases the tribes had spent generation fighting one another and were very good at it. For example, the Aramaic letter analysis you are doing for the Quaran has been done for Bible fragments too small to carbon date. In Ireland, 3 such fragments have been dated to 50AD-60AD.
