Why is there a Million Dollar Price Difference Between these two Motorhomes?

When I did Route 66 - which literally passes by Newell - I stopped in and toured 8 of them. The quality of the woodwork absolutely blew me away. It was elegance + art; absolutely Beautiful! (Then I got back in my Thor....)

Another great job. I think you forgot to speak on the wiring on the Newell - they have real electricians who know how to wire homes. so many RVs are wired very bad

They have complete 2 different styles. The wood interior of the one gives it a more traditional home look and the other higher end one is super modern and urban/ city style. Both gorgeous. I like the modern myself

Hey Andrew. Love your videos and they were really helpful when we were looking for our new coach. It would be great to see some in depth videos comparing manufacturer models. I see a lot of the same components like slides, bay doors, cabinets etc.. used in all the Newmar models and I think it would be great to see what components are shared and what upgrades you actually get as you move up with each model. Sort of like the compare feature when shopping online. Keep up the great work!

Newell is custom, more complex, and all metal. Newmar is a production coach. My father owned 7 coaches in his lifetime. The last two were American Eagle's. In 2005 they were great production coaches. Not as good as a Country Coach or Foretravel but top of the mark for production coaches at that time. We have an 06 Wanderlodge. Their market niche was above production coaches but under custom Newell's and Prevost conversions. My only negative with a Newell, Prevost conversion, etc...is the complexity of the units will require more time and money to repair and keep up. We have the same issues with our Wanderlodge. Complexity of electronics with an 18 year old unit is what it is. Still a step up from a production coach. The Newmar IMHO is a great value. It's a lot of coach for the money. Great video Sir. When I see the rounded edges in the Newell"s it is a comfort thing for myself and many others with balance issues including aging owners. The radiused edges are safe if a person loses balance over a sharp corner. Both coaches were very nice and you did an awesome job showing the differenc$ between them as well as why.

You forgot to mention customer service differences. Newell has 24/7 service for the full life of the coach!

Windows!!! Newells have more and BIGGER windows by far. Tons of options on if you want one in the bath, or opaque finish, or omit completely. Slides - Newells are completely custom to how deep, how wide and where the fall within the coach. Only Newell offers the option of mid-entry! A huge game changer!

it comes down to each companies definition of custom . Newmar's is you can pick the color of the package your getting but the design stays the same. Newell's is you pick everything and design everything the style layout the color the materials whatever you want they will build it to your specs.With Newell if you want an entirely black interior I mean everything floor to ceiling they will do it .Newmar will give you like four color choices on cabinets floors and fabrics that's it .

The most IMPORTANT question is which one has better reliability? Just because one costs more does NOT mean it is is more reliable! A Mercedes, costing three+ times more than a Toyota, does NOT mean it is more reliable! Contrast, the MB is a money pit in comparison!
