This is most likely for copyright issues, so Mojang can detect if a Minecraft clone has copied Mojang's original textures. It's like how atlas makers put a few fake streets on their maps so that if another publisher were to copy their work the original owner could immediately tell. Canary in a coal mine sort of thing.

Much like the pixel on the (hurk) TikTok cape, I think this is entirely intentional. It's likely a Paper Town, a flaw, error, or otherwise hard to notice 'problem' that would be difficult to randomly recreate, but easy to copy without noticing. Real-world mapmakers would add fake towns, or towns that only exist on paper (or roads, etc) to their maps to be able to catch if some other company/mapmaker was copying their map and then sue them for copyright infringement. Having barely noticeable or even unnoticeable bit-level differences in the Minecraft textures would make it insanely easy for Mojang/Microsoft to identify if someone was copying their textures without permission.

The reason why it could be intentional is because the code is almost identical just the numbers being 1 difference If it was an accident it would definitely be a different random code since the both colors have the slightest difference he or she definitely manually typed it out

The pixel at the firework just adds something. It is not just 2 colors, it is in perfect spot to add SOMETHING. Some lighting, some flair, it is not just bland 2 colors together. It is nicer than only 2 colors.
