The Hellcat has really changed the performance car world. Ever since it's introduction it really ha brought incredible horsepower numbers from a stock platform. I had a manual trans in my 1991 ZR-1. It was so fun, but I prefer an auto now. I currently have a 2011 CTS-V and a 2013 Audi S5 cabriolet prestige. Both are automatics and both are hella fun to drive. I have my eye on the new C8 Corvette in a year or two. Thanks for the videos!

I can't imagine driving a hellcat that isn't a wide body. The narrow body has the smaller width tires right? My scat pack can be squirrelly when I get into it with 485 hp and its not a wide body.

So true. The non wide bodies have 275s and that aint much. Should have a min. of a 305 for scat and hell cat.

Agree 305 should be standard for both trims. My Daytona has the dynamics package with 275s and you can definitely still get turnt

i have Challenger SRT 392, Which has the same body trim as Hellcat. Each got same everything as hellcat including wide tires, suspension, etc.. except for the engine is 6.4L with (485hp). Before I got mine I was into widebody, but after comparing the two, I opted for regular. In my eyes, it just carries the perfect classic look, as is, Besides the Challengers are already wide car. Adding Widebody trims just looks unnecessary and unnatural. But each their own.

Great car and looks impressive no doubt, but I'm taking a ZL1 every day of the week. Hellcats are a little over the top for me. However, if challengers are your thing and money isn't an issue I can definitely see the appeal. The ZL1s overall performance and looks is second to none imo. Hoping to get mine in about 10 years 😊 Also, that "YEAH!" at 1830 was magical 😂 You are so awesome Joe and we appreciate you very much!

Nice car but I have to say that I would be a nervous wreck because I know that I would be dropping the hammer down. I like it but if I were in the market for a front engine muscle car I would go with the GT-350 first and the Z-01 second. Mainly because of the handling aspect. Even in a straight line drag race the Challenger Hellcat you have to be always on your A-Game and that still might not be enough. Thanks for sharing Joe. I enjoy all of your videos.

turt1231 The Zl1 is my daily driver. I like it better because it handles a lot better then the Hellcat. It has a better ride also. Even though the Hellcat has more horsepower, I still think the Zl1 is quicker.

The zl1 is the better performance for the money but i thought the hellcat was a better drive since it is easier to get in and more space.
