Thank you for the review! How would you compare this iteration of the blade with the Radical Pro/MP?
@servingaces
@servingaces Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment :) compare to the MP: the blade is more controlled, stable and has better overall feel. The Mp is easier to play and gives a bit more spin. compare to the Pro: the pro is pretty similar I think but more demanding. But gives better control and also little bit more spin I think (if I am not mistaken)

I switched from the head speed which people can argue is good looking. The speed is better when it comes to consistency but it lacks feel and feels like a Walmart racket. I checked the strings and there fine

I changed to it asit was reccomended for players with tennis elbow. It has helped in that regard. The control is fantastic. I get plenty of topspin with Biphase one string. The only down side is the lack of power after using a Babolat Pure Drive.

How would you rank from least to most spin, the Blade 98 16x19, the 18x20, and the Pro Staff 97?
@servingaces
@servingaces Жыл бұрын
Did not play with the 18x20 yet. In terms of spin I think the blade 16x19 must have the edge here. The pro staff is not so spinfriendly overall. I can imagine that the 18x20 and the prostaff are similar in that regard.

I’m looking for a new racket and have nailed it down to these lot : Yonex Ezone 98 Yonex Vcore 98 Babolat Pure Aero One of the 3 main Wilson lines… ( I haven’t done much research on Wilson ) Which would you say is best for my style of play which is very briefly an agressive player that hits serves flat or with spin, backhands flat, for hands flat and with topspin, If I can’t finish the point quickly then I love to add slices to my game… I really like playing at the net to finish a point quickly. Overall I like playing all over the court. Thanks for the help and great vid again

If you are not a beginner power racket is a bad think on reviews. It means that when you play points you miss Long. As so blade is like a gravity pro on 98 head size

not necessarily even mannarino - an actual pro - play with a pure aero and a very low string tension. It depends on the player and the playingstyle 👌

Don't know what it is about the Blade but having hit with a few of them (98 16x19 V7 and V8, 100 V8, 104 and more) this is a racquet that cannot gel with and I don't know why. I just found them lacking or not to my taste in just about every area. I see they're very popular but I'm just not feeling it, pun intended. Worst of all, they seem to exacerbate my tennis elbow so I should just stay away.
@servingaces
@servingaces Жыл бұрын
That is interesting. I always come across people who really like or dislike a tennis racket. It is very subjective because everyone is different. Another of my viewers commented that this racket helped him curing his tennis elbow. Maybe it is just not your racket. That is fine - there are so many others outthere! Which racket do you play?

@@servingaces I've used the Auxetic Speed MP since November; spent 2+ years trying to find the right racquet and it's not perfect but more than good enough for me. Re the Blade(s), I wonder if I don't have enough game for the 98 and just not good enough for it. The Blade 100 was a surprise; tried it in August, expected it to be really good but in my hands it was just dead. I have met plenty of Blade lovers, including at my club; as you say it's very subjective. Cheers!

@@rich.e sure 👍 it does not matter really. If you like the speed mp then be my guest 🙌 just because a lot of people love the blade does not mean you have to like it as well. I play with the gravity pro now and most of people I met who are even better than me does not like it because of the high swingweight and the balance. It is just very subjective 👌
