Ubisoft is falling apart and for a good reason. If they somehow release a new ghost recon game, I doubt it will be good. If they carry on with fast food gaming and treating fans like cattle, situation won't improve for them as a whole or ghost recon.

3:30 we need a campaign storyline that gives us an actual SOG experience with AI air supports and QRF/MEDEVAC as well an AI pilot we can use to deploy and exfil to and after missions around the map preferably multiple campaigns over time in different parts of the world itself open world concepts of course with different overall main situations for storyline wise and also keeping the customization overall for soldiers and weapons etc.. having vehicles around the map heck even a DLC revolving around intelligence agency missions and such but hey for ubisoft to actually want to put that kind of work in needed to develop such a title they'd need a new overall leadership tactical shooters from them are more like customize yourself for a party or to star in a play 😂😅 I highly doubt ghost recon will be granted a return to it's S.O.G. experience sadly that's the world we live in these days

A Metal Gear style large sandbox would be ideal. At this point I think massive open world is a gimmick. Shrink it down to sandboxes that you can insert into similar to how Socom used to be and focus on environment quality/ depth. Implement cool insertion Gadgets. I already didn't have faith in GhostRecon after Breakpoint's disaster, not to mention that damn battle royale they tried to take the series into. I'm not holding my breath for GhostRecon or Ubisoft as a whole. It seems if you want tactical shooters you'll need to upgrade to & play on PC, which sucks for us console players. I already lost my beloved series, SOCOM U.S Navy Seals & now GhostRecon is about to die.... What a terrible time to be a tactical shooter fan 😔

Fanbase (myself included) slammed the Frontline announcement hard. Probably scared investors off the project entirely. If they don't announce it, we, the players, can't give our input on it, and the investors can't get scared off. Nothing at Ubisoft is going to change until the CEO, top execs, board of directors, *and* company shareholders pull their heads out of their asses and listen to what the players want, and not what they think we want. You don't want to be the person who gifts their grandkid a football when they're not interested in football. Edit: Ghost Recon needs to have first person, period. But you should also be able to switch to a first person perspective, because you're going to need that for close quarters environments. Otherwise your player model will wind up obscuring your vision when you try to clear a corner.

For the next Ghost recon I’d like to see the following A good gritty story line , with decisions making that effects story Huge maps ( possible custom map weather mode etc build your own maps missions with editor etc) ARMA style Set in the back drop of a large conflict I:e ( your team give support to ground forces during a large battle ) like in the American sniper movie Set in Afghanistan, Middle East , Eastern Europe ?? Decent character, weapon and vehicle customisation Instead of flying an aircraft boat etc your team can be flown to waypoints for drop off ( like in MGS phantom pain ) Finally NO F#%$ ROBOTS!!!!! I would be very surprised if they're even paying attention to Ghost Recon at the moment. They're trying to mitigate 3 failed IP's with their stocks crashing by 93% and all their investors and string pullers tearing them new assholes from every direction possible. The Silence is not a good sign, but i keep my hope they're doing something good. 1st / 3rd Person switch would be great. Deeper Commands and Strategies for the Squad too. For my wishes, do you remember the Grappling Hook from Far Crys later games? A thing like this a little more based, to climb more vertical Terrain. Would be a nice tool for a Panther Class maybe. Carrying Heavys for the Panther too.. or dragging. Less Drones and more classic Tanks. I'd even sacrifice our spy drone and this sensor Grenade. There is so much they could do. Hope dies last.

Yo, Juan Solo and that's how I prefer to play... in solo mode not squad. Hopefully Project Over (or whatever it's called) is a reality and takes the best from Wildlands & Breakpoint. I can still dream, can't I? I think Breakpoint is awesome now what with all the mods available. Kinda like red dead redemption 2 and how that's still going strong with the modding. Thanks Nexus! Ubisoft can definitely learn a thing or 2 from the modding community.

So weird, just got a survey from them that was very based towards breakpoint and a few other games. What I'm surprised at is no one else picked up the 3rd person mil shooter baton and ran with it so to speak. It does seem like devs on all fronts are giving us everything but what we want.

Immersion, story, realism and how important were they. I don't think it was very specific to anything but it did seem to have odd timing to your video.

honestly I'm kind of looking forward to a First Person perspective. The tactical feel could be on a whole new level then what we had before. wanna look at your character. character customization. But mostly im Just looking forward to more customization characters and weapons, new weapons, a whole new tactical experience, not to mention potentially good cqc take downs. first person has a lot of potential with it

There are a couple of things and play here I feel like: there have been some leaks on project over and project gone in terms of casting calls and a possible setting. I know not official. One of the leaks indicated a possible return to first person shooter exclusivity, which was met with some backlash. I personally don’t care as long as it’s good, but it has upset a lot of people. Right now Ubisoft state is not good while I don’t think it’s going to completely fold, they have to be careful with ghost recon because if it goes bad, they’re screwed. Rainbow Six turned into a joke, splinter cell is still stealthy that it’s not able to be seen and assassin’s Creed is going to be completely out classes by the new ghost of yotei game. The fact is the community won’t let them get away with screwing ip Ghost Recon again so I think they know it better not be shown unless it’s damn good

Funny I got a Survey from Ubisoft about open world shooters at the end it asked me "what would the next Ghost Recon game need to focus on to get you interested in playing it?" Basically, i said more like Div 1, gear sets, skills, setting something like a proxy war where the Ghosts are helping the insurgency. against an occupying force needs to have a dedicated PvP at launch. Needs to have a dedicated roadmap post-launch, not just a DLC and additional "quality of life changes" seasonal updates would help. The reason HD2 and SM2 are so popular is that they are competitive PvE experiences, there need to be something like that in this game as well. The open world aspect would be a rural area like the last 2 GR games and an urban battlezone area, the urban and rural areas would be the same size but the rural would be smaller in width and bigger in terms of vertical combat fighting up and down. Anyway that is what i thought would like to hear your thoughts. :)

Div2 is going into its 6th year and it has had its ups and downs but it still has a very active player base with a development team that keeps enhancing the game. What "woke" games? What does that word even mean anymore? Ubisoft are failing because of poor management and a slew of mid/bad video games that release unfinished and/or broken at launch, coupled with a reliance on an open world formula that has grown stale. At this point I dont want to see what ubisoft's plans for ghost recon. They never finished breakpoint's story or even the map. What do you mean 'never finished the story'? As for the map, Aurora is a group of islands, there is no place you can't go. Just because there is a hint of another land mass behind clouds doesn't mean it was ever going to be in the game. Do you say they never finished the map in Wildlands because you can't leave Bolivia?

Guess you spoke too soon. I just did the survey that revolves heavily around ghost recon. Could be them creating a check list to see if the project is advertisable, seeing as they had to delay their flagship IP. The company needs a promising prospect to close the year off

Whole thing took about 15 minutes to finish and ended with a question being what features I think the next ghost recon should focus on to increase my interest in the series. Gave up on Breakpoint, deleted it and all my saved slots so there's no going back unless I want to start right at the beginning again and that's never going to happen. Did the same with Wildlands not because I didn't like it (I loved it) but after 5,000 hours playing, absolutely nothing left to do and getting bored slotting Unidad grunts for the hell of it I've found better things to do with my life. Any new GR game has got to be a serious upgrade over WL to get me to splash out my hard earned money especially as I've also cancelled my Xbox live subscription due to the latest bloodsucking price rise.
