Why is Victoza, Ozempic, Mounjaro in short supply?

I've been on this drug for years for diabetes, and now I can't get it anymore because of people who are using it for the wrong reason

The US Medicare system negotiating lower prices by decree appears to be a reason. The drug company diverted resources to use the components in a more profitable product.

Victoza is off patent -- that's why Novo Nordisk is not producing it anymore.
