This is so true! It’s very hard to be receiving and be the star. It’s a genuine feeling. It’s weird but it’s genuine and it takes a lot to break out of this. I love my Virgo husband. Virgos show there love by acts of service, if you understand that you will see them showing love all day lol. Hi! Me too with a stellium in Virgo, but with an Aries Asc. (which puts it all in the 6th!). Your Cap asc. makes you even harder on yourself!! I also have a strict health regimen for myself (like things I never eat. Up 'til recently, I had to do 2 miles every morn before breakfast), but (because it's all in my 6th house?), it feels completely natural and not 'imposed'. Is it the same for you? You write "as my body demands it" ... which I relate to. But the little things we do are like money in the bank as we age! I'm 63 and, from the age of 20, I've woken up every morning and the first thing I do is drink a very large (3 cup measure) of hot water (a shower for the INSIDE!). It has kept me hydrated and healthy all my life.

I'm a tarot reader so this is fun to see. I have Virgo South Node and a lot of Virgo tendencies positive and negative, I was just nodding when Raphael was talking about doing the laundry, etc. I'm triple 7s in my Numerology and 7s are known for hermiting up sometimes in the extreme and I do that and although this is Key 9 if you look at The Hermit he looks like a 7.

With 6 Planets and a handful of Asteroids in the 6th (and half of these in VIRGO!)I can tell you that I LOVE TO WORK! I would work ALL THE TIME ... however, it MUST BE work I LOVE. It is tantamount to Virgo's Soul Fulfillment that they do work they love, work that (in some way, shape or form) MAKES A DIFFERENCE. Without which, we are lost and miserable. I can tell you, I would rather do something constructive than go to a party (and THAT's with my Sun in Leo!!).

The 12th House is the Hermitty House and IS Neptune and Pisces, so you're right. Virgo is Pisces' Polarity (directly across from Pisces on the wheel) ... Tarot is slightly different from Astrology but includes Astrology within it. Think this way; It's good to FEEL where things make sense rather than being stuck in a hard and fast rule ... But also, sometimes we embody our POLARITY. Sometimes, when what we do/how we are doesn't work, going to our Polarity DOES. Both Pisces and Virgo suffer from acute sensitivity. Pisces need (more obviously) to recharge by sequestering themselves, but Virgo REALLY profits from downtime/recharging quietly.

@@andreaandrea6716 no problem. Because when you look at it, the signs have flaws which in order for them to overcome requires mastery and control of their energy for them to reach fullness. Virgo people are known to be overthinking Individuals who often drive themselves crazy because of their desire for perfection or things to be right( and that may take different forms). However, Virgo must learn how to calm their minds down and find serenity. Ironically when they find that calm and retreat, the right answers comes and it lights the way. Hence the Hermit Tarot card. Still the same Virgo energy( The Hermit is Virgo just a different personification) yet that nervous Mercury energy is now fully in control and settled down because Virgo has learned how to.. essentially slow down.

@@calvinbrice.t2140 Tell me about it! Despite being a Leo, I have Merc, Venus and Mars all in Virgo, IN the 6th! (as I don't use the equal house system, my Sun and Pluto and Jupiter are also in the 6th, plus a handful of Asteroids). i.e. Virgo is the strongest sign in my chart. It's a blessing and a curse! But you are absolutely correct in everything you say. I have struggled with depression my entire life (without drugs. Prescription or otherwise). 6 years ago, I began to focus on re-training my brain and the way I think. I take great care NOW to channel the perfectionist energy into work (where it's useful) but not let myself use it AGAINST myself (or others). With great success. You are SO right about slowing down. In slowing, I tell myself that I am HONOURING what I am doing. (Oh! and Intuition plays an enormous role!).

I don't know. To me this card is more like Mercury in Pisces energy, not Virgo. I would never think of Virgo as an intuitive energy. Practical and analytical, yes, but not intuitive. When Mercury goes to Pisces though, that's when the intuitive messages can come out. Besides, Pisces indicate isolation, withdrawal from the world in order to connect with the inner, spiritual world, which is what Hermit card is about.
