A comedian in India, Jaaved Jaaferi, once joked about how an Indian politician on a visit abroad was asked why the death rate in India due to disease was so high and he replied: “That’s not true; the death rate in India is the same as in the developed world: one death per person.”
@beskamir59775 жыл бұрын
From that perspective, I really enjoy telling people that air causes death since 100% of people that breathed that stuff died. You can replace air with pretty much anything and still make the same correlation equaling causation joke thanks to death being (at least as far as I'm aware) fairly universal.

It's funny one day after not seeing a doctor for over 30 years my dad was mowing the lawn and out of nowhere got super short of breath. After 3 days he finally decided to go to the E.R. It took them awhile to figure out what was going on because they couldn't get a decent e.k.g. Well what it turned out the problem was is that he had a hiatal hernia that ruptured and all of his guts moved up to the left side of his chest cavity pushing all his organs over to the right side putting the heart in the wrong place. It was weird. Even after they realized his heart was in the wrong place it still took them awhile to figure out why. They ended up figuring it out though and fixed him up. I'll stop there leaving this situation on a good note but that was my experience with a loved one with their heart on the right... errr wrong side. Rohin you are an extremely funny guy. Keep doing what you're doing. I'm always ecstatic when I see a new vid from you!

To say you were awesome is an understatement. Also, never imagined a Biologist would point me to the reason of chirality. Biologists are underrated, at least as much as physicists are overrated.
@ThePandafriend5 жыл бұрын
Why did you think so? Chirality is a pretty crucial concept in biology. It's more important in biology than in a lot of areas of chemistry. You find it all over the place and especially on a molecular level it just wouldn't work without it. For example secondary structures just wouldn't work if you would ignore chirality. No matter wether you're talking about DNA, Proteins or carbon hydrates. Also cell walls just wouldn't work.
@mitesh8utube5 жыл бұрын
@@ThePandafriend The issue is NOT whether chirality is important in Biology or not, but a Biologist Rohin knew about a fundamental fact of Physics (that chirality exists because of asymmetry in weak force) that even most physicist don't know. See, you can't even comprehend my comment (or I can't write a comment that isn't confusing to people like yourself), but Rohin is so smart, he knows things in Physics most physicists don't know. Don't you think we both should applaud and cherish such talent?
@ThePandafriend5 жыл бұрын
@@mitesh8utube Isn't that more chemistry than physics?
@mitesh8utube5 жыл бұрын
@@ThePandafriend Chemistry is just Physics of electron. Specifically, science (Physics) of interactions between elements through their electrons. A rather narrow part of Physics.
@ThePandafriend5 жыл бұрын
@@mitesh8utube Yes, but nevertheless physicists focus usually on other areas. And when using this argument you can also say molecular biology is physics, which isn't wrong, however it's usually not the focus of the topic "physics". The smaller it gets, the less distinguishable natural sciences become.
