Ti Identity is about how you personally understand something When you judge a situation and you personally think that this way is the correct way, it doesn’t matter what the group thinks or feels unless they can prove you wrong, you will follow your own reasons and logic

This may be the best ISFP discussion I have ever heard. Amazing insights by everyone. I’m so floored by how good this was.

This was great. These mistype talks make me wonder if a mistype also reveals the facetedness of each type and the placements of what is most prominent, used and preferred in a person

This was awesome more mistyping videos please!!! Also, my husband is an INFP but I could see how these would type as one there are little differences that are very noticeable if you’re looking for them. These guys and gal just seem to more “there” but only slightly. Hard to tell in introverts and ixxps since they are almost observers in their observations.

i find ISFPs to be so fascinating and especially have a soft spot for the ISFP jumpers. as an INTJ jumper, i can see a bit of them in myself if i only made different choices or emphasized different parts of myself. i especially loved the conversation of the Fi....for a long time i thought i was better and more developed with Fi than i actually am. hearing ISFPs and INFPs talk about Fi...i realize very much that i'm not doing that. for example, monique was very clear of separating her feelings from others and having a very good awareness of it or making sure to check in with herself over feelings. that's absolutely something i'm not doing or if so very rarely and i see the tremendous value in it and i'm making a note to myself to start doing that

I'm on the opposite trajectory where I think I'm an ISFP, but watching this video made me consider INFP as a real possibility. I can so definitely relate to homeostasis, having consistency in the physical world, and basically committing to maybe 1 out of 10 of my ideas, haha.

I think its fine to identify with a type, as long as it isn't thought of as"your true self", after all a person is more than their psyche, more than their perception of their self, more than their cognition, more than they will probably ever know. But to explore your cognition of your psyche, of your perspective is no doubt a meaningful experience. So i prefer to just try out my own perception of the codes to see what sticks. My currently identified as type is Isfj, which frankly the more i learn the more i feel it fits For every system of typology i learn the fundamentals of, every cognitive function insight i gain it becomes more and more clear that my natural state of cognition is ISFJ. But here is the interesting part, you can approach Intuition through sensing, and approach sensing through intuition(Meaning that your personal self development, despite of your natural cognitive preference isn't necessarily going to overlap in a clearcut manner)

I am an infj, that sometimes feels like an isfp. And get along with both infp and Isfp and intp best. Ive had professional typings to confirm infj ...but I wonder. I wonder. Might be my enneagram 4w5 Beautiful job guys. ❤️

I love Julien's comments around minute 32 or so. The idea of sharing some ideas feels way too personal, especially if you feel you are going to be disrespected. I know there are things I will probably never share with anyone else, and that seems normal to me. The idea of sharing everything about myself with any one person seems claustrophobic, anyway. Not that it wouldn't be great to feel pretty close to someone on many different levels.

I guess when Kurt talked about how every new thing he encounters he feels something For the high Ti users, that would be the equivalent of asking “why?” and analyzing things you encounter a lot of the time

Monique around 28 minutes, great point! Investing your energy in something you know you're going to do! No matter what personality type it may or may not be associated with, being in a "passive" phase for too long drives me nuts. Some people seem to have an even greater capacity for daydreaming than I even do (INFJ).

The Sharon Osborne example of Fe vs Fi was really interesting!! In that situation I would be trying to project my own relaxed energy to try to help that person calm down, so maybe that’s more of an Fi response?

I love isfps! My grandfather is one. Would you guys say that isfps are the most natural mechanics? My gp loves the shape of cars and every morning goes out to dust it lol he is in his 90s and doesnt even drive anymore. I think istps could be but they probably dont have the fondness for their mechanics and so, in my mind at least, are better electricians with Ti. Esfps instrument makers and estp construction...generalities but yeah. Within reason of Se Fi/Ti

I never saw myself as infj because I never looked into the type nor I thought i want to be it just because its rare my focus was to get the personality that fits me because i take personality test as something to get to know myself strengths weaknesses and how to work on it and how to progress and take it as a tool to guide me it wasn’t just a label of oh i want to be and infj so i can put it it in my bio and everyone thinks im interesting:/

Which cognitive function and slot/ or type in general would correlate to having a tendency to have hunches about people, idea, or things that seem to come from nowhere? An abstractive light bulb moment that just welcomes itself without intentional thought or inspiration.
