Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:168, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071] whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme) Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071]

Having children is a huge responsibility, especially in the early years. Yet, moms are free to attend and noone has the right to stop them BUT, the children NO. Children under age 5 are best at home in order for the congregation to pray in peace. Even in a special room seperated from men, young children often disturb the prayer and it is selfish of these younger moms who insist on bringing the children. I understand that moms are cooped up all week, and use Fridays as a chance to socialize. Yet, the disturbances of unruly, crying younger children is wrong and certainly we can agree this is the reason and the overall mercy of why women are not obliged to pray in the masjid.

Friday prayer is an obligation on everyone, according to Quran. Obviously you use your common sense and if you have a young child or are on your period, it is not practical and Allah will take that into account. But if there’s nothing stopping you? According to the Quran it is a commandment for everyone who believes.

Our beloved Prophet (SAW) said: “The most excellent worship is Dua.” (Sahih Al-Jami) in fact, our Holy Prophet (PBUH) said it as the best form of worship. When we make Dua in front of Almighty ALLAH for our needs and wants; not only our Dua is being answered but we will be rewarded for worshiping also. While making Dua we accept the power and authority of ALLAH and our weakness in front of HIM. With Dua we can never fail; without it, we can never succeed. A person can never become arrogant or proud when he makes Dua; it is a logical result of true worship. DUAS - YOUR CHANNEL

If Khutbah was supposed to be only in Arabic, I would not even be Muslim now. How would we even invite others if we cannot speak their language? Interesting. But I do miss Dr YQ, saying “Inn Al Hamdulillah, Nahmaduh…”!

As Salaam Alaikum . Anyone who says that the Friday service, should be all in Arabic, The Prophet pbuh was an Arab . And Arabic was his Language, he didn't speak any other. When giving Dawah you have to speak the language of the people.

Without the presence of a just Ruler/Sultan/khalif or even a merely appointed Muslim governor, how can anyone justify al Jumu'ah(?) Forget the west or east... Even within the sanctuary of Haramain, how could one logically justify conducting al Jumu'ah without a present, just/fair, appointed Islamic ruler(!)

Those vast majority scholars who argue jumua khutba to be in arabic has a point, firstly it is sunnah. Secondly from logical point of view, no one who goes to university for studies insist teaching to be done in local language, rather everyone studies english to understand the class. Arabic language deserves, should be given far more importance by muslims.

Muslims will be shocked when they will learne how the Jewish scholars depicted Ibrahim AS and Musa AS. Though the Jewish claims to be the Abrahamic faith but their depicting of Ibrahim AS and Musa AS is quite different than Islamic.

I thought the sensable answer is woman aren't obligated because if they were what would happen if a woman was having her period, then it shudnt be obliged because woman have more important roles , but it wouldn't be haram for them to go because if a woman wants to go jumaa she shud gonto raise her imaan and her blessings inshallah

Well, by this sense, prayer shouldn't be obligatory for women either since they cannot pray during menstruation. Also menstruating women can attend a sermon (khutba) without praying. The Prophet explicitly recommended everyone to go to the place of Eid prayers on the days of two Eids, including menstruating women.

Women don’t have to go to the Friday prayer but did you know there must be no barrier between the women and men in the prayer hall women go in the back and men go in the front. THIS IS ISLAM. But what the people in charge of mosques do they put barriers between women and men. THIS IS NOT ISLAM.

@D B but the prophet himself did not do such things in the mosque so why we adding it. If he wanted he could have done it too but he did not. He gave that womens right to pray together so why people are taking it away.

@D B Undoubtedly the Sunnah is for the women’s rows to be behind the men, as was the case at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Al-Bukhaari (380) and Muslim (658) narrated from Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) that his grandmother Mulaykah invited the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to a meal that she had made for him, and he ate some, then he said: “Get up and let me lead you in prayer.” Anas said: I went and got a reed mat of ours that had become blackened from long use, and sprinkled it with water. Then the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stood, and the orphan and I stood behind him, and the old lady stood behind us, and the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) led us in praying two rak'ahs, then he left.

Al-Haafiz said in al-Fath: This hadeeth teaches us a number of things… that women should stand behind the men’s rows, and a woman should form a row on her own if no other woman is present.

@D B I gave you reference. If you have reference regarding prayer and a barrier please present it to me so that I may understand. What you saying is something else I’m talking about strictly praying together in the mosque where men go front and women go behind

Too much Fatwa go against Quran, against Allah's order. Fatwa will come from Allah, is safe and secured. People made religion very complex due to their additional stuffs avoiding Quran all the time. Allah, Muhammad, Quran, Islam one matter, one ideology. Stay on real truth, Allah's truth that was mentioned in the Quran and follow the real truth can follow khalifas' rituals what they did. Only the message merge with Quran. Nothing more or less avoid all.

The Quran says everyone is obligated to do Friday prayer. It refers to ‘O you who believe’. Not just men. Stop putting the hadith over the Quran.
