There is actually a bug in Apex, where if you shake or spin your camera faster than your current weapon's fire rate, it will eliminate all recoil. Why?? Idk, but it actually works for weapons like the R99 or the heavy AR (i dont remember its name)

I took a break from Apex and played Warzone for about 9 straight months. I went back to Apex for a few games and there is almost literally no recoil in Apex. The R99 is the only gun that has any and it's straight vertical.

I can beam like crazy with every gun *except* the CW AK, I don't know what it is about that gun but I've tried it numerous times and it just doesn't work. Unless I'm in CW itself then it's actually controllable.. Not sure why that works though.

Good tips. The real challenge with controller is not holding down the pad to control the recoil but to follow a moving/running player while firing ADS.

Maybe it’s just me, but I recently turned off the vibration of my controller in game when I’m shootings guns. I’ve had a lot more success in managing recoil. It just feels so much smoother than with controller vibration on.

I use dynamic settings and a higher sensitivity and it helps control recoil more. I can make small adjustments easily and flick if I need to.

I used to play a lot of CSGO and PUBG have around 1200hrs and 1000hrs played in them and have spent hundreds of hours perfecting recoil control of major guns in both the games. When I first played Warzone, the recoil was almost non-existent even without any attachments.

When I started striving to be better I saw videos of people talking about controlling recoil. I decided to try it out and I would miss all my shots. I set my phone up and recorded my hands. I found out I naturally was compensating for recoil already. At the time my .75 kd casual brain figured out recoil with no instruction. It’s not hard with this game. There definitely are some cheaters, but mostly it’s 5’5” people claiming Lebron is cheating because he can dunk.

There is one thing to control recoil and another to have an AMAX look like a Kilo. I have seen streamers use a VLK 3x and there is literally no bounce around the optic. We can talk about tracing the recoil pattern all you want, but that doesn't negate the bounce of the optic.

The issue with the anti cheat is that people are still gonna complain excessively, Anti cheat or not. If they make it intrusive, people are mad for privacy. If they make it exclusive people are still gonna be mad at hackers. The community is still gonna be salty either way :/

It’s not as hard as you think. At that range moving your left stick to track and right stick to control recoil works practically like aimbot if you are good enough and can lead the shots right

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought this. I know that there are players out there, who are vastly more skilled than I am, who can control recoil, track and move at the same time really well. However sometimes you watch a streamer's gameplay and it just doesn't make intuitive sense. I think most people have very good instincts for when something is off and someone's gameplay is suspect. I don't think every single case can be summed up by effectively saying, get gud, they're just better than you. It also doesn't help that anyone who has played this game for any decent period of time knows that this game is plagued by rampant cheating. Some as blatant as hard aimbotting and some more subtle like soft aimbotting, wall hacking or recoil scripting. Even recently, we've seen custom private hacks come to light. I think I'll hold on to my healthy scepticism when I see things that appear too good to be true.

the recoil pattern doesnt change the farther away from a target you are... if the wall he was shooting was 100m away instead of 10 and he did that same down then diagonal movement, the shots would make the same exact "zero recoil" pattern, you'd just have to run up close to see it

Doesn't matter how much experience they have, initial recoil is something everyone experiences. It's that fraction of a second your gun jumps for bullet one two and maybe 3 until your gun is under control. So when I see these guys pull the trigger and the gun goes legit nowhere... They're cheating. Why cheat? Because they need that help in order to accel over their peers. They need to feel superior, even if that feeling is false. This is why you'll never see a high KD KZbinr at a public lan event. They never go pro. They only participate in online contests. Mad sketch. Particularly guys with stats higher than pro players. Like swagg. That's the culmination of being a complete sleazeball. Using recoil mods, reverse boosting and sbmm manipulation through the guys he plays with.

@@dj2106 See not to be rude but you're the exact kind of low IQ player that JGOD made this video for and you still don't get it. Players aren't getting 0 recoil at 150 meters. You honestly think all those bullets are hitting in a 1 foot diameter box? They aren't. The longer the shot you take, the less you can even see the recoil because the target is much smaller. But if you could actually zoom into the target, and see each bullet hit, they very much are not zero recoil. They aren't even actually hitting every shot a majority of the time if you slow it down and pay attention to the hit markers.

Thaaaank you..! I’ve been saying this to people for AGES..! I’m on K and M, but was on controller for a long time. I see the problem most people struggle with on controller, as an analogy, it is like over correcting in a car with too much steering wheel input when you slide the rear of the car out. People over correct and end up sliding back and forth all over the place. Same here - over correcting with controller sticks is (mostly) the problem. So dial down sense, learn the recoil pattern, and then you’ll be tracking moving targets WHILE adjusting recoil... then you’ll be the one accused of aim bot or Cronus Max..! 😊. Another thing to note about CS compared to cod is that the bullets dont go to your xhair in CS. So you literally have to memorize the pattern and learn to correct it when shooting different enemies. COD bullets go to your crosshair so you dont even need to learn a pattern you just pull the crosshair back to the enemy as its shooting

I’d still argue that with a Cronus when you don’t have to worry about recoil at all, at range this gives a gigantic advantage because the player only has to worry about tracking, while the other person has to recoil correct and track at the same time giving them a pretty big disadvantage

@jgod One thing you should add when mentioning counteracting the recoil is if you are using an inverted option like I do then you just use the stick in the same pattern as the recoil. As a long-time CS:GO player, recoil in COD is almost nonexistent. I have been told that you can't control AK, but as it turns out the AK is the only gun that actually make you move your mouse a little bit :)

It blows my mind that some controller players have such difficulty controlling recoil. It’s so easy. I have standard aim assist on and linear mapping sticks. It’s all muscle memory. Use the same loadout and get used to that recoil. It’s literally the easiest to control after you establish muscle memory.

Even on ps4 with 80 fov, recoil feels almost non existent in warzone after playing games like battlefield for many years. Having said that, some streamers have extra sticky aim assist which can be achieved using a cronus zen so we will never really know the truth cuz warzone is online and until there are LAN tournies, we won't know the whole truth of certain players

Honestly, between the weapon attachments, kontrol freaks and precision rings, controlling recoil in COD is childs play. The one thing Ive noticed with people who STILL cant control recoil is that they are running a high sensitivity, or dont know how to make small adjustments with kontrol freaks, or both. My recommendation for people struggling, get precision rings. The added tension from the rings will help recoil control by A LOT.

The settings aren't what helps on pc, its the mouse. FPS games werent designed to be played on dual analog thats why Activision programmed aim assist for those robots on controller.

If you can't control recoil on most weapons it's because you're casual which isnt a bad thing. If you do want to get better, practicing on a wall with munition boxes for like a hour will show great improvements to your recoil. I doubt most would even try to do this because they dont want to put in practice, but accuse those who do put in the work to practice, of cheating.

I won't say it as excuse or something but being able to changing your fov is a whole different world. Have a ps5 and sometimes I play cold war mp for a little while. If you play it for 2/3 hours, and switch to warzone it all feels so slow.. Also you have way more overview and way less visual recoil. I know the recoil is just a 'feeling' and don't count as actual recoil, but for me personally, the feeling determines the vibe.. Anways, dope vid as always and the cod makers just have to fix it instead of buffing/nerfing weapons infinitely. I know it's all fun with the weapons, john skins, etc but first things first. ✌🏻

Cod never had a big enough PC playerbase to ever be held on PC until Warzone became popular. It's a console shooter first and foremost.
