Net code is dodgy. You were probably already dead on the server but they dumped the damaged on your client late - it happens quite a lot and is the main complaint in reddit. There are a lot of cheaters on pc though as well

Playing objective does award your gun with xp😂 double for getting kills with it on point, I play objective every game and have 2 guns gold now, objective helps leveling up things a lot faster.

​@@kingkongsta4051 Except it doesn't, offensive and defensive kills award you with an extra 50 exp on top of the 100 for a kill, and purple medals like longshots etc contribute to your weapon exp. But actually playing on point, getting on the objective, unless you're also getting those kills, doesn't do shit for your weapon xp. I mean congrats on gold, but a lot of us either don't have the time or the skill to rack up enough of those kills to level up a weapon at a reasonable pace. At level 33, taking advantage of double xp weapons, my 2 most used guns are only at level 15 or so.

None of the operators are actual characters from the respective franchises, only their gadgets is what connects them to it. It is very easy to tell if you look at the new faction “GSX” based on the R6 Siege faction “GSG9”, instead of having the actual operators like Jager, Blitz, Bandit or IQ, we got three random characters that have their gadgets, the trophy system from Jager and the Flashing Shield from Blitz, and the universal defensive gadget from R6 Siege which is barbed wire.

@@zeep3047 yeah I agree too. With how Ubisoft keeps shoving Ezio in every game across the genres, it cheapens the value of the character. I'm fine with Ezio's outfit being in the game, but not Ezio himself. However, I think they can use the known characters for a short story in a PvE mission or game-mode and give players a taste of the character's origin game. At the end of the day, it is Ubisoft's biggest advertisement, so they might as well show us why their games are worth playing. Imagine somehow becoming trapped in the Animus and Rebecca and Sean help you escape that. But they need to you to decode some of the Assassin's memories inside Animus to find something that helps you escape. Or just let us fight the Spider-Tank alongside Wrench while Prodigy's The Day is My Enemy blaring, that's all I need.

This is my thing since the first COD game you could customise your character (don’t remember which one though) I loathe that feature personally because when the whole team is displayed it looks like it’s a team of rebels instead of operators. It's funny a company took this approach. I think because the market is so saturated, they *had* to be in the position of the 'hero' that completely does the opposite of what everyone hates in every other shooter (p2w, SBMM, OP ability garbage that ruins gunplay) in order to survive at all after the disaster of feedback that was their private beta. Honestly, all for it and it makes me want to give it a try! Though, tread cautiously considering we know what company backed this game and how quickly they can flip once they establish a foothold.

While the game isn't perfect, one criticism I've seen that I find funny is saying there isn't anything to grind for, which apparently means the game is boring. Bruh, grinding should be complimentary to the main experience. The game itself is FUN, that's what should bring you back to play it again and again.

Killstreaks in COD were literally the definition of the Rich get Richer. It was satisfying when you got them yourself, but it made it feel very difficult to come back when the enemies had them, while also encouraging camping and hiding. That's why I thought the change to Score Streaks and especially the Support Packages from MW3 (2011) were so good, it actually did the opposite, encouraging you to get out there and secure as many objectives and put yourself in risky spots to get kills because even if you died it didn't negate all of your efforts, but the rewards weren't crazy impactful (except for the stealth bomber) so it also didn't feel like it was difficult to come back if the enemy team is pulling ahead. Edit: (not important to my previous point) We never got the chance to try it in an official capacity, but I think a hybrid system would be ideal. You get score streaks as you do now, but whenever you die, instead resetting your score back to zero, it only resets it a certain amount, let's say 400 Points. That way people aren't going to hide for minutes on end because they are one kill away from a high tier streak reward, but they also aren't going to run around like a maniac trying to aggressively get as many kills as possible regardless of how many times they die since they don't get punished for dying. Basically, you just wanna keep your Score/Death ratio pretty high and that's how you get rewarded. BUT, you can't unlock the same streak rewards on the same streak, you will need to either die enough times that it sets you to zero, unlock all your steak rewards so it wraps around, or switch your loadout/class. (this prevents the obvious issue of getting a killstreak, dying, and getting that same killstreak even faster than the first time due to not losing all progress)

You could go 18-60 in mw3 and get killstreaks tho with the support streaks. I dont think rewarding players for dieing over and over and being bad is neccasirly good either. I liked score streaks more from bo2 cause they encouraged you more to play the objective but you still had to get a killstreaks.

@wes8061 no one was going 18-60. To get 18 kills in regular TDM you'd have to account for 25% of the score board. Bad players weren't ever getting it. The kill streaks they could get only happened once a match unless the lapped it, and most of them are very tame.

And he did openly and clearly say that he was sponsored, so.... Brainwashing? I think that's a bit harsh. There's way worse games out there than this. I just think it would be good for the devs to hear loud voices regarding some of the games issues cause this thing has serious potential. But right now, a "COD Killer" it is not.

For example even though the abilities in the upcoming R6 faction are from R6 (Jäger’s ADS and Blitz’s shield) all three characters are original and only based off of the R6 operators.

Nah sorry buddy. Ubisoft only publishes the games and does the micro transactions. The studio develops them. The sad reality of the gaming industry is that big companies make better games. They pump them out faster, and they can market the hell out of them. When's the last time you heard of an indie game getting the same level of success as a AAA game? If I had to describe XDefiant without referencing other games, I'd call it an 'Arcade shooter theme park'. It has the best thing Ubisoft has packed into one fun shooter: their IPs. 9:44 CoD MWIII just had a mode without SBMM. First game I put the swarm into my killstreaks I got it. Played 32:1 - thats what no SBMM feels. Havent had a single good game on XDefiant out of 12-20games. Since I'm pritty good at shooters and have over 25years of playing fps games under my belt, I have 2 conclusions whats going on here. 1.) They flat out lied and heavy SBMM is in Xdefiant. 2.). Not a single casual player plays that game... No matter what it is, it has been as sweatty or even worse than current CoD. + bad aim/movement and no killstreaks. As an og CoD fan - there is no fun to be had in Xdefiant.

That's because half of the cod lobbies are kids and the content creators cheese the game to get into this lobby. If you haven't noticed ubisoft gamers are mostly adults since their titles are aimed that that audience. Example r6, use to be assassins creed but not anymore, for honor etc
