I'm not sure when you mean. By the time the US got in the war, Russia had flipped to allied. If you meant after ww2 ended, that would just be a hot cold war.

Btw, that tank in the video is an IS-2. Or a JS-2. Depends on how you pronounce Josef Stalin. If you say it like Iosif Stalin it’s an IS-2 and vice versa. It was developed from the IS-1 and was made in response to the new German heavy and medium tanks like the Mark 5 “Panther,” Mark 6 “Tiger,” and their variants.

I’m Japanese. This video is wrong. In 1956, Japan and the Soviet Union signed a Joint Declaration providing for the end of the state of war, and for restoration of diplomatic relations between USSR and Japan. In the Joint Declaration, Soviet Union agreed to transfer to Japan the Habomai Islands and the island of Shikoton, the actual transfer of these islands to Japan to take place after the conclusion of a peace treaty and the declaration is also succeeded to by Russia. However, we still have territorial issues of other islands so we haven’t concluded the peace treaty yet. Anyway, the state of war have already ended technically. By this declaration, Japan could entry in the UN.
