When I saw that trailer, I swore I was back in the 2000s because the comedy is very the same. And I miss that comedy that wasn't afraid to push the envelope. In my opinion, art be it film, television, music or even games should make you feel something. We can't have comedy without someone willing to look a bit ridiculous. I swear entertainment is going the way of corporate art in how it looks polished enough but doesn't inspire emotion.

My only critique would be that they could have leaned even more into both the comedy and dramatic elements, keeping the messaging a bit more subtle. Still, this is a real movie in the vein of Juwanna Mann, Soul Man, Dodgeball, Major League, Bad News Bears, or any comedy sports movies from when it was okay to potentially offend people.
