There's obvious concerns with D'Lo in the playoffs. With that said he's good in the regular season and we'll have his bird rights next offseason and can pretty easily bring him in on a decent deal especially with the expected salary bump from the new tv deal kicking in next year. Interesting to see how it plays out.

I’m trading Reaves before I trade Dlo lol yall trippin. Both players are around the same age, Reaves has more trade value(because of the media hype) and I’m pretty sure both players have reached their peak. With that being said, Dlo is the better player. Better scorer and playmaker. Reaves is slightly better defensively but barely and he’s better at drawing fouls but Dlo was literally our 3rd best player and 2nd best play maker most of the szn. Reaves is viewed as better because he escapes criticism whenever he plays bad and people think he’s younger than he actually is because he came in as an older rookie. His perception of being young is why people let it slide when he plays bad. Trade Reaves for a solid wing or center and we wcf bound. FYI Dlo nor Reaves were good in the playoffs this year. Reaves was slightly better but both underperformed. Dlo was clearly better in the regular season

@@Nostalgia9478Not exactly because DLo has been on record saying he loves being in LA. He wants to be at a place where he can be somewhere long term. So if the Lakers don't end up trading him, likely they will extend him. He doesn't want to go anywhere else.

@@Nostalgia9478 I can make it make sense, the Lakers have over valued Austin, he can improve offensivly, defensivly he has hit his peak! Our achilles heel is our guards can't defend, they get smoked! Austin doesn't have the tools to improve defensivly, Dlo and knecht does! Believe me Dlo knows if he doesn't improve his defense and playoffs performances significantly he's gone! Knecht can be Austin replacement after we trade him for the right player. Max shot 41% on catch and shoot 3s his defense is solid and he's just 21. Why do you think the Lakers gave Max that contract? They see the potential. Austin has a great contract, add a couple of players trade them you also open up roster spots.

JJ just already speaks light years more clear on plays, plans and development. He articulates his answers better and just feels like a real nba coach. Ham never felt or looked confident in anything, especially pressers and post games. So many lack luster answers and repetitive generic shit. Like we need to defend better? Show our hands? No shit, but clearly he wasnt good at developing. I believe JJ will have that down pat due to just a higher basketball IQ and drive. On another note, I have confidence in DLO, Rui, Max and an another underrated gem, Cam Reddish. They will be game changers for us.

My problem wit Trevor and the Dlo situation is Dlo can have a bad game and put the same stats as AR and trev would not say anything bad about AR but will go in on Dlo. He clearly shows favoritism maybe because he comes on the show.

The consensus around Dlo has been the same. He can get extremely hot in the REGULAR season but there are some cold streaks. However, he haa consistently underperformed in the PLAYOFFS. I've seen the dlo movie before and I choose not to watch it again. Trade him before the playoffs because he's shown over and over again that you cant trust him when the lights are the brightest.

All D'Lo did last year was make more three's than any Laker in history. Ho Hum. No, look: D'Lo was woefully misused and even sabotaged in the playoffs by absolutely horrific coaching. I think this year, if he doesn't get traded beforehand, we're going to see something special from him in the playoffs (assuming we make them).

I know Lakers fans have creamed over Max since his draft but do you honestly believe Max will defend Tatum, Murray or Kawhi better than Cam? If so, then we deserve another play-in berth. With the exception of Steph, a consistent 3 is not better than lock down defense. Offense sells tickets, but...

Lakers don’t want Dlo he was on the trading block all summer other teams not interested Reaves was the third best player come playoffs the last two year Dlo went from 42 percent 3 ball in the regular season to 31% 3 ball in the playoffs easily could have opted out and resigned but lakers obviously didn’t want to give him a new contract that’s what made him untradeable at the deadline wolves made it to this point Dlo expiring balling out on his last year and sold as high as they could get for him Lakers most likely do the same

I’ve been a JJ supporter from jump once we lost out on Hurley, I wanted Hurley first but when I heard the names available after Hurley, I said JJ is the right guy for the job in LOS ANGELES, Young charismatic, Riley hair, Can win over a room and most importantly KNOWS BALL! I think he’s gonna do great here, Hopefully he gets time and we can have a damn HC with a long tenure, I don’t expect to win a championship every year like most fans that’s impossible, I just wanna see consistency, A tight ran program and player development, Every franchise has dark days including the greatest basketball franchise of all time LAKERS, Kobe had dark years it happens, This roster is good and another year of player development and new coach can make a difference, People who say same roster same results don’t know shit about the game

Picked out 7 at random games vs playoff team comparing reaves stats vs sg on other team. Results Vs mavs ar 14 3 7 kyrie 12 5 6 Vs den ar 13 4 3 Murry 22 6 10 Vs ny ar 22 6 7 hart 12 11 4 Vs pacers ar 16 13 6. Nembhard 11 2 1 Vs bost ar 32 2 3. White 9 4 6 Vs bost 2nd gm ar 11 6 3 white 18 2 11 Reaves gets bad rap on D. He hangs with other sg about every game. Out of those 7 looks like ar came out ahead vs ny pacers cavs bost. Lost battle Boston 1x Murry And mavs about even. Definitely not blown by, destroyed, out matched all terms I read. He not a great defensive player but holds his own. Austin reaves is not reason we can't win a title.
