Literally love scrums! One of the things that make Rugby what it is

Love the scrum; it is so important to winning many games. Good on you for celebrating it and interesting to hear two prop legends talking about the intracacies

That was actually a super insightful, super interesting conversation there, could listen to another few hours of it ! Also as a french very proud to hear about Mas and Domingo, they were absolute class in the scrum. Put Servat inbetween them and I think you have the best french front row of recent times here.

Cool episode. Funny to hear them get almost mystical about the scrum. One question,, do all props practice that 'sad disagreeing, walking backwards, head shake when they've given s scrum pen away thing'. Pretty much everyone does it, and they are all pretty much the same? Follow up Q, do they admit the ref was right in the reveiw or so they pull out the headshake again?

Probably the longest I have heard JM be serious!! Obviously passionate about his trade

Since it came up later on there's a few props in Italy who play both sides, Simone Ferrari is mostly a TH but plays LH when needed, but at Zebre you have Juan Pitinari and Momo Hasa who are very good scrummagers who are more or less equally good on both sides. Keep an eye out for Hasa especially since I think he'll be in the Italy squad within the next year if he can stay fit.

Love this show! Finally some love for the scrum!

Just want to give Paul James a shout out as a prop who could play loose and tight. He was invaluable to Wales in the days of only being allowed one prop on the bench and accumulated over fifty caps as a result

Enjoyed how the editor apparently gave up on censoring the word "fuck" after about five minutes when they realised how big a job it was going to be.

I think it's to do with monetisation and the number of swear words in the first few minutes. After that you can get away with what you want generally

As a South African, scrums are really not that complicated. As long as you don't eat salads. 😂

Flippant If it was that simple everyone would do it Its a darnk art
@SAPPERBRAVOАй бұрын
@peterwomersley thats what our front row always say. With 10 min left to the game and it's knock out rugby you have to be able to live in the dark, for your country because every second and every inch of space gained will count. Love it! 🇿🇦
