I rewatched the game and the England did gift the Boks 3 tries. The poor defence for the SA 9 try (great individual skill), Double charge down try and the missed double tackle on Delandi and great individual run by Colby. Could even say Stuart should have had Colby on the cross kick. England to me played the better team play but just gave too many easy opportunities to South Africa who are deadly finishers. England are close to winning these games.

Even tho you need 2 of them, picking the top 10 wingers is mindboggling as there are just so many incredible players vying for a spot. The fact that people like Tuisova or Wright don't even get a mention, let alone being nominated in their top 11 says it all. The only one I would drop significantly is Arendse, to about 8th ... many fine margins But lets face it, we could put a long list of 20 together and still sit back and admire an embarrassment of riches. Perhaps its best to just enjoy the ties we live in as such a huge array of attacking talent has to put a big smile on any fan's face!

I'm a born and bread South African, obviously a Bok supporter. I just wanna say, England are a great team and have good things coming. Stick with it, and don't fire your coach! DAN, YOU;RE BRILLIANT, AND BEN YOU TOO. Don't lose hope, your team is brilliant

We’re not good enough. The premiership is not delivering players with enough talent and skill to compete with the world’s best. Sticking 30pts on Exeter or Gloucester is not a sign of international quality. It has been one long, endless procession of meh England sides over the decades, with the odd massive effort, unrepeatable win. IT IS THE PLAYERS.

Slow down the tempo of the game so that the bomb squad isn't running against tired legs and kick a lot. Also, no knock-ons!!

Where we grew up, side stepping was pretty common, only a few guys did it well obviously. But I would not want to be the one to try and make that tackle, Cheslin did it to so many already, Same thing happened last year.. against England ...sorry

your mindset is whats costing you . I would be worried if my player said id rather be the team thats behind by 6/3 points keeping it close than trying something and losing by 20/30. atleast Scotland tried 50/50 could of gone either way that night . But instead your doing nothing and still losing (and Scotland played 10x better rugby than England did on Saturday)
@drikuslourens18549 сағат бұрын
final 10minutes ? South Africa won the game at the 61st min , the last England points came at 52mins ? you could of left and gone home at that point witch the English did with 30mins left to play. South Africa this year avrages a winning margine of 20/22point winning margine. South Africa first team since 1931(England did it first) to win three international test games in a row by a point

so if the neck roll was technical, rugby incident got the clear out wrong . why does outja only do it when England was right in front of the poles. does it twice under 10mins never does it again after getting warned about getting a card so what your just a bunch of amatures ? probably why cole kept going into the mauls from the side and looking like a lost and confused little puppy. well shit if the issues is you guys are just getting it wrong then easy fix stop doing things wrong and you wouldn't be a joke
@drikuslourens185410 сағат бұрын
your grabbing a dude around the neck and rolling with all your body weight 🤔🤔 and its been over 10years that the crocodile roll was changed, and you have to grab the person under their arms or waist because it was one of the lead factors to cases of death or permanent injuries in the game. YES ITS A FOUL PLAY PENEALITY JACKASS , especially when the same player does it twice under 10mins
@drikuslourens185410 сағат бұрын
and you cant hide behind "most of the games we where leading going into the half " when your losing and checking out of the game with 20mins to play. technically 30mins as England's last points came in the 50th minute

I agree with Ben that Melbourne is known to be similar to london. Loved your work with the koko show also, they are great lads! I have my lions tickets but im an englishman living in australia!

43:57 of excuses from Dan Cole. Impressed by Ben at least pressing him on difficult issues. The Autumn Internationals were a great opportunity to blood some new players, particularly in the front row. We could have experimented a bit and given some youngsters valuable experience, or we could have picked a full strength side and won. In the end we did neither - simply emphasising that some players aren't good enough any more, which we knew already, and that picking players (Slade, Ford, Curry) with no recent gametime for big internationals unsurprisingly doesn't work very well.

The only bad game England have had has been against an Australia that caught them by surprise. Losing narrowly to the second best team in the world and then to one of the best teams in rugby history is not a crisis. Youngs has been chugging too heavily on the bong that the talking heads at the Times etc. have been passing around and has now lost sight of reality.
@johnmcdonald-619617 сағат бұрын
Ben youngs owned his comments in such a humble way. I think England are building to being an elite side. I was there in Brisbane for 2013, lions tours are always special. I think the lions are definitely the favourites, but hopefully it’s a very good series. All the best from a wallaby supporter.

Bad news for Anthony about being just waist deep in the water - the majority of shark attacks in Australia occur in waist deep water. Not the big great white sharks or tiger sharks, but bull sharks (in Africa they are known as Zambezi river sharks). Bull sharks go to sea but also live in brackish water and swim up estuaries too and can even be in fresh water at times. I've seen bull sharks in the Brisbane River near ferry platforms, so don't arse about there. They have also bitten people in the canals around the Gold Coast and there are lots of bull sharks in and around Sydney harbour. The easy way to avoid sharks is to only swim at Surf Life Saving Club patrolled beaches and stay between the red and yellow flags, or stick to swimming pools. Just because locals are in the water doesn't mean it's safe. Risk tolerance varies from person to person.

I dont think us South Africans even understand how good we are at kicking right now. If a player have one bad kick everyone will want him subbed off. Which is crazy. We have maybe 2 or 3 bad kicks a game which I imagine would be the lowest going around.
@michaelmackrill691720 сағат бұрын
England played well. Their execution in the end had no purpose. There was no sense of urgency. South Africa has become very good in closing the game off with a win even if they looked at their worst. They simply find away. That's part of their DNA. Every single game the Boks have played this year has been won 80% in the last 15 - 20 minutes
