It's always depressing hearing how scummy orgs like LiveNation try milk every dime out of artists with sleezy practices. Crazy to think they even reserve rights to even do sales while still pulling all profits from catering, alcohol and such. I remember Jon and Lawrence (the band) talk about it in a video Lawrence released like 9 months ago. They mentioned how they were charged for things like Production Managers that were never actually provided, for 500 bucks a night. Actually criminal.

The irony is that by treating artists that way, people who are due to the space are probably not going to deal with that sort of empty, corporate manipulation well, they are probably harming the ability of artists to create their best stuff. Hard to put effort into something when you know the people who benefit most dont give a rats ass about you or your work.

Been a Jon Bellion fan since 2016 from his song All Time Low & then I went to a 21 Pilots concert in 2017 he opened for in NJ and when I heard his other songs - all creative masterpieces - live, that was it, he’s been on my daily playlist ever since! I saw him on the Glory Sound Prep tour in 2019 and towards the end of the show he stopped singing and had a speech about having something you can’t talk about in your life and struggling with it, and making sure to get it out. This was probably around the time he had the human condition out, I’ll never forget it.
