fact that they market tourist trap chin mee chin pisses me off. Just profiting for the name itself. Ebb And Flow group destroyed the branding with shitty food and exhorbitant prices. Promote the right places - Keng Wah Sung is the few places left that have truly authethic kopi toast at fraction of the price.

Am Singaporean myself, always love me a good kaya butter toast set with Kopi C Gao Siew Dai 😄. For those interested, it means Black coffee with added evaporated milk, less sugar and extra thick

Use kaya sparingly because of high sugar. Do use only a little on a piece of toast. The other pieces of toast are with the eggs. Just dip toast and eat immediately and toast stays crispy. The last piece of toast is with some kaya as I consider it sort of breakfast dessert. At home just have whole oastmeal and fruits for breakfast. Thanks enjoyed your vlog.

Well being from the West naturally I had toast but not on this level!! Mainly as a kid my mom just made our toast with a little butter spread on top and some jelly or jam!! So I can honestly say that I would love to try Kaya Toast for sure!! If I'm ever over on that side of world 🌎 again I may just have to drop in and try it!! Phenomenal 🔥 Video and Thanks for Sharing💯🌟💯🌟💯

Got my Kaya spread at a Southeast Asian store. Try checking an Asian store near you. It is so good 👍
Are you able to produce a video on Filipino breakfast? Lots of staple breakfast items to pick from.

As an Indonesian I am actually more accustomed to the orange one. But that might just be me. They have the green ones too, but might just depend on which part of the country. I like to get my selai srikaya (kaya jam) from the Mariza brand food group.

Relac la, Malaysia got sooo much diversity and variety in your food, let us have this tiny thing la. Serious if a channel series were to be dedicated to your cuisine, it would be 10 time longer than one to SG. Also, most SG also recognize our neighbour's superiority on food la. That's why we always go over to mainly eat. K? Friends? Malaysia boleh man!

Not that. Its because malaysia aint great at promoting themselves. Like singapore being a white washed country so alot of white ppl only know Singapore... Unbeknownst to them, singapore food originated from Malaysia since they were once part of Malaysia. Kudos to Singapore tho, great marketing and focus on tourism... Not unlikely they paid some advertising to list their food in some top ten food article too. I mean seriously, some dishes are very mediocre but it ended up top ten. No hate tho. Malaysia could have been there.. Done that if they just focus and stop involving in corruption. Just saying 🗿🗿🤷♀

@kepala kentang alamak he obviously never cross the border and don’t have Malaysian friends to open his eyes! Anyway no need to angry, feel sorry for him instead! Many singaporeans know the glorious food there is available there! We MAY have food better than u guys, but they are probably on the Crazy Rich Asians level, expensive as hell options, as for street food, we definitely cannot fight u guys, plus the country so much bigger, there are even regional specialities! One thing I can definitely say, is our food is easy to get around, or vast options nearby, cos our strength is that we’re so small. So each has their strength and weakness, makes it all the more fun!

I think I first had this breakfast in Hong Kong, but then some friends from Singapore gave me more context about the kaya itself. It's so delicious, I've made it a few times. If you have ever made or had lemon curd, the concept and texture is really similar, but with a really unique and luscious flavor.
