Central Kenya is largely Matriarchal and have "SPECIAL " children upbringing style that is totally different from other communities in kenya. Whereas I agree with what this elder is saying, my first-hand experience tells me otherwise! Kikuyu women are very hard working no doubt. From the Mau-Mau era, these women must be applauded for their participation in supporting men to succeed in chasing away the Mbeberu. I personally acknowledge them. I wish a Kikuyu man can be a bit assertive and authoritative to show direction and authority. Many Kikuyu men have no teeth to bite but a mere status symbol.Women do more than their men in every aspect including property acquisition. If their men were purposeful and intentional in other areas outside amassement of wealth that often never help them in maintaining good health than pride, Central could be the best in many ways than one. I am a woman of African descent in the Caribbean. I have wondered about my tribal origin. The description given has confirmed to me that I am a Kikuyu woman. So proud to be a Jew of the bronze. It all came when I looked away from Christianity and asked the Creator to teach me his way. He brought me to Kenya and placed me in the home of kikuyu. He gave me a portion of there blessing. He gave me a view of the summit of mt.kenya and I knew his presence was there. It's amazing that he brought me to this presentation. I am thankful. My journey has only began.

It all depends with your character, its not about tribe its about the vision and what you want with your life. Personally I'm a Kikuyu but I've come across other ladies from other tribes and they're too doing great, its just a perception that the Kikuyus are hardworking, if you do a simple analysis you'll realize that there're those that're hardworking and there're those that're lazy, they're the richest and at the same time they're the poorest. Its not about similarity kikuyus are Jews to be specific Israelites. Jews are not supposed to be white do your research. All bantu people on earth are Israelites. And the black people in the diaspora(Majuu) are Judah people they came from west Africa mostly during the slave trade and also there are people in west Africa who are from the tribe of Judah. We are all one according to the bible and what God said that he shall make Judah and Israel one. And also another thing people don't know is about the curses spoken of over the children of God that is the tribes of Israelites Isaiah 3:12, As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. That is why you find many kikuyu women ruling over their households. Men should just stop complaining and know why things are the way they are and know how to deal with that so as to remove themselves from the curse and of course that getting in touch with their head and that is God. I always say when the head is sick the whole body is sick...that is if men are not Godly that means they are sick they'll be out of order and the are supposed to lead.

Because traditionally we dont take cr@ p from men; polygamy, kuchapwa, kuchapa watoto wetu etc. Some are hardworking but we also have lazy ones who are horrible gold diggers. I ust also add these stereotypes have been fueled by the sore election loss memories between Raila and kikuyu former presidents.
