Yayoi Kusama explored symbols of our ability to start afresh even in the darkest times in some of her early works, Infinity Nets (1951) and Accumulation (1952). Samantha Friedman, associate curator in the Department of Drawings and Prints, talks about the pair of Kusama works featured in the exhibition Degree Zero: Drawing at Midcentury.

Whaat,is this art? Really? BLACK DOTS CAN NOT BE ART sorry if i say this,everyone of us has a particular style,BUT DONT TELL ME THIS IS ART.There are people who can make amazing things but they are not considered because they have not an interesting story or the famous paper called degree. Your perception of art is a bit off. Stop using your eyes so much and you’ll the see the beauty in her art much more clearly. Ask yourself, how does the art makes you feel? Then you’ll have experienced it.
