Interesting video. Thanks for posting. I'm a lefty and here are some of my thoughts about life in a right-handed world. I think it's mostly a question of adaptability, so I choose my battles. For example: • I use a can opener in the same manner as a righty. If I saw someone cross their arms to use a can opener, I'd take it away from them and open the can myself. • I stopped using lefty scissors when I was about 6 years old, because there often weren't any available in class and the inconsistent availability caused coordination-development issues. • Years ago, I used a computer mouse with my left hand, but right-handers couldn't drive my mouse so it was inconvenient for collaboration. And when curvy "ergonomic" computer mice became a thing in the late 1990's, I decided to swap. • Lastly, I don't use spiral-bound notebooks because my hand rides up on the spirals regularly and it's uncomfortable, so I use top-bound notebooks. I do, however, find the idea of a left-handed bread knife intriguing, as I get curvy slices if I'm not paying attention and compensating.

Even chefs knives have a bias grind that does the same thing as the serrated knife, the grind exacerbates the curve in your cuts. It took me 39 years to realize why cutting food is such a nightmare. Now to learn to start putting left handed bias grinds on my knives.

Same here. But then I saw my left handed friend trying to open a can. Then a righty noticed and opened the can easily

I get so fed up with this nonsense. If you cut the bread crooked ITS YOUR FAULT! Not the knife. Pay attention. Focus on the task and cut the damn bread straight. If you have to rely on the bevel being on a certain side then you have no business being in the kitchen. Knives don’t have auto pilot. They don’t act badly. They are acted badly upon. Stop with the nonsense excuses and develop a little skill. Hold the thing straight. Wow. So tired of the excuses.
