Cooper will always be a legend to any forest fan but I truly believe he went as far as he could with us his tactics not brilliant and the pressure of being a premier manager just got to him

As a Forest fan, I believe the club really didn't give him a fair crack. Simply because any manager would have needed more time and would have struggled with the amount of incoming and outgoing players. Must have been one hell of a challenge! I was so happy to avoid relegation in both past seasons, but the first season was a greater achievement for me. At least Nuno came in blind with a full squad to choose from. I wish Steve all the best at Leicester, and with his future endeavors. Peace :)

@@utichaturvedi Yep, I do, too. Didn't gain enough positive results, and that was that. Coops also played a sort of negative way, very boring at times. So it was 'game over' for Cooper. But, like you said, nothing really changed with regards to results. Will Nuno now be sent on his way? I think not. :)

Uti the point you made of Cooper getting us from relegation certainties to promotion is a massive point, no way would Nuno (or possibly anyone else) have achieved that, also Nuno as an experienced premier league manager didn't improve our league position at all, however fingers crossed for next season and we sacked Cooper so we really can't complain

He's a great guy and I will always hope he does well, even though I hate the Bin Dippers. This will be a good chance to prove himself in the Prem. It all ended on a bit of a sour note for him when he was sacked by Forest.

I’m a forest fan and I think first season at Leicester will be a 16/17th finish second probably 18th. For all the noise about Marinakis and him, he was found out in 2nd season. Only fans kept him in job towards the end 2 wins in 14 and most managers would have been gone. Nuno has a lot of other problems to contend with, but given kind fixtures to begin 24/25 says if he doesn’t end up with 7 points to begin first 4 matches then he’s gone.

I really wish Steve Cooper well as a Forest fan. We owe our current PL status to the guy…full stop. I think the vast majority of Forest fans will agree and I’m sure he’ll get a great reception when he returns…if he is still in the job. I say that because it’s our second to last home game of the season and if Leicester do badly on top of any points deduction, who knows what might happen to the guy. As for him supposedly selling out to our ‘rivals’…complete rubbish, we sacked him after all, plus any ‘rivalry’ with Leicester is well overblown.

Would you be faithful to fans who got you sacked and called you bling weekly after lifting a club into prem with massive influx of unknown players and old men replacing a loan squad - not many managers could have survived that - he could have walked into any job when they arrived in prem after that roller coaster but stuck to the job - wonder what he thinks in hindsight…..

Foxes will be ok with Coops - he will dig in and keep them in the prem into next season while they’re recovering financially and from FFP rogering incoming….. That’s why the likes of Potter not interested ££££M required…. He’s got sand for sure taking this on if they have no real available cash and lose 7-9 points ffp…. Cooper doesn't pick good lineups starting Ayew of Fatawu and not playing Ricardo not to mention the fact he doesn't make a sub until the 75th minute. We have so much talent and he is wasting it by playing players like Ayew who shouldnt be a starter
