As a Sporting fan comparing Yoro with DeBast and St.Juste, similar characteristics, will undoubtedly be in the 11th of RA But be careful, RA manages all games and during the 90min of play often replaces the central defenders, because they are the beginning of construction and sometimes other characteristics are needed RA will explain everything in the press conferences, speaks a fluid football Cheers Sporting

I also agree with you AJ, Leny Yoro definitely has the qualities to play that CCB position under Amorim. With De Ligt and Martinez both aggressive, he can be that player who can cover for them when needed.

Right now, we have to play him out wide just due to a lack of good channel defenders, but going forward, I wonder if we look to move him inside as the starting CCB. Could then look to move for someone like Scalvini on the right.

Love this content. Could you please take a look at Jorrel Hato as an LCB option? I assume Shaw is going to be one of the options we have there and INEOS seem pretty hell bent on Branthwaite but Hato has played at both centre back and left back and seems to me to be much more progressive than Branthwaite. I'd love to know your thoughts

Utd can be fixed with only five signings next summer - Alphonso Davies perfect LWB - Jarrad Branthwaite very good LCB with room to develop - Angelo Stiller/ Adam wharton for midfield depth - Viktor Gyokeres experienced no.9 - Kvaratskhelia for the LAM role. Assume that these are bought for a maximum of 200m pounds, this would be a really good window for amorim to possibly challenge for the title next season. As for departures, one of luke shaw/martinez has to leave to accomodate branthwaite, i'd sell rashford (if he doesnt perform in the remainder of the season), case, eriksen, maguire, antony and zirkzee all out as well (i dont see why utd should keep him gyokeres comes in) Signings could be financed by departures, keeping united within FFP regulations.
