Mesha Holmes i dont think thats true. I think hes a mogul. So his fame is kinda unorthodox. And Its not that hes famous for nothing, hes known for a lot. But you know when someone says Nick Cannon I dont think of none of his movies or songs or even his show or his marriage with Mariah Carey. But not a lot of people watched his come up. Appealing to the younger generation is what gets your name put out their because we are more active on social media. People dont know your name if no one says it. But it dosnt mean hes idle. Idk if that makes sense but hes obviously someone that knows what hes doing

They was finna give us the mitts 🤣😭. I just told him me and my cousin were fans of his stand up and Just Jordan. He was at the corner store getting White T's for a show and somebody told him to go to the store up the block from my house. He took pictures with the clerk and everything. It was like 8 pm and his show was downtown that night like a 10pm. I was so PISSED I couldn't go. From what I heard he was late to his set, and STILL did another 20 mins to make it up. Real humble guy, dude.

The data is indisputable, people with a college degree earn AT LEAST 3x's more than those who don't. My wife and parents kept saying, "you're too intelligent to not have a college degree." After marriage and kids I went back and earned my B.A. and M.A while working 40-50hrs/week. Best decision of my life! Black folks need more education, plus it's one less obstacle to overcome. My kids know that college is not a "choice" for them, it's a norm.

chuck killawood I don’t know that to be true or false. But usually it’s a parent/guardian who sees the potential of the child to be a star, this case is unusual in that way. Cuz had it not been for his teacher, who knows if we’d be talking about him at all.

Mhmm Jim Carey speaks to the importance of a teacher who helped him on his journey. He has shared a story of a teacher who recognized his “class clown” penchant but the teacher was smart and caring enough to recognize she could use his desire to perform as a reward to shape behaviour. Instead of scolding him she set aside time at the end of the day for him to perform for the class. Compromise=win-win
