I used to live in Stoke Newington. Loved Clissold Park near-by and the aviary that used to be there. From personal experience I would say avoid Stoke Newington. It was never a particularly nice place.

I never go into any of those Church Street shops, absolutely nothing I would want in any of them. I have to go to Dalston or Islington if I need to buy clothes.

No drug dealers anymore then
