It baffles me that as a fanbase we're willing to fall back into the same gloomy negative atmosphere that we were in after the Liverpool game. Especially when we in fact did NOT loose and actually played WELL. Sure Ten Hag did some mistakes and some players should have played better but compared to last season or the beginning of this one it doesn't look its something that would require massive player or tactical overhaul

Really loved the performance. Back to front, on and off the ball, excellent. We had a clear shape, threat on set-pieces and we were so dominant that Palace fans just groaned all the time because they couldn't get hold of the ball at all. Today's game (apart from the finishing) should be the base, or benchmark as to how our performance should look against most of the teams. Dominant on and off the ball, patient and steady possession but increase the speed and be decisive during transitions. Amad, Zirkzee, Antony (also Sancho if he was there) are one side, and Rashford, Hojlund, Garnacho, Bruno are the other side. Our front 4 should be a mix of these 2 groups. One side thrives better when people are in around and the other are too direct. Garna, Amad, Zirkzee is so balanced in nature, In the last 25 mins, we had our front 4 all from the other style of players, all 4 are too direct, our central progression stopped (Eriksen was also subbed out) and Glasner clearly shut down the midfield space. We are top in xG created, need to score and put emphasis on taking the lead. I believe we are 2-3 times the better team with the lead.

We should have ended the game with zirkzee, rashrod and Rasmus all on the pitch. Taking off zirkzee and eriksen killed our creativity. The team look good, off the ball we are not conceding too many shots and our midfield doesn't has as much space to run into like last season, we are creating chances. What is really exciting to see is we can adapt to different styles because of the squad depth and different profile of players it's a good headache for eth. This season rests alot on our wingers scoring playing along side zirkzee would create lots of spaces for them. Onlast thing onana slandering and banter will not be tolerated anymore

Same thoughts. It's not that ETH made bad subs but he preferred getting mins in for Højlund and Ugarte over the actual tactical need. Rashford, Højlund, Garna, Bruno front 4 makes no sense when we are trying to beat a low block, it just doesn't.

The team looks more stable and productive when Eriksen is our 10. Rashford and Fernandes lack of ball progression is currently halting the progress of the squad. The less we turn the ball over the better we look as a unit.

The killer moment for us really was taking off Zirkzee, Amad and Eriksen. If you want our attack to have the same fluidity it had in that first half, you need to keep atleast one of them on. I would be intruiged to see zirkzee as a n10, amad on the right, hojlund up top and rashford on the left. Garnacho is great but his impact off the bench is much greater than when he starts

The only thing i found wtong about yesterday game was that we didn't take our chances, our defence was solid, midfield was locked and secured, attack was deadly but couldn't score thier chances....

The subs killed off all intensity and probing. Had they taken the chances in the first half, 5 big ones at that, the complexion of the game changes overall. The mere fact they failed to score off those, always meant the match would be stretched as it progressed and it showed. Coupled with that the subs totally killed all momentum. Good thing he didn’t sub off any defenders, that would have lost us the match and killed any momentum and chemistry that’s being built. Overall a very positive performance albeit without coming away with a win. Winning would have created a buzz and boost United going forward.. ❤❤❤ United Forever

Ten Hag's changes will be criticised, removed many technical players, but I felt they did physically drop off and slowed down, that's just where the squad is, not enough technical players who also have a decent engine yet, or like Eriksen, an engine left.

Patterns of play are there, but if we can't finish the chances what's the point. Most big chances missed this season is united with 17 next below being 12. Are we gonna be saying we deserved to win if this happens against Tottenham, Villa? If we keep on missing these big chances I'm gonna get really worried

INEOS will be looking for progresson their game plan rather than results at this stage, i believe..remember also zirksee has only played 5 games in a new country..more clinical strikers than him have struggled adapting to this league

Next weekend against Tottenham Hotspur at home Tottenham Hotspur they Play with two inverted full backs and wingers stretch wide two attacking middle fielders attack the half spaces. Great game to watch.

I really want to see Bruno deeper and another option at 10 to slow down the play. Could be Mount/Zirkzee or even Maino/ Amad. Could've even gone for ariel duel winning with Casemiro deeper.

AJ as I was saying in preview stream, this was not a game for Garnacho or Mainoo to shine... what was needed was 442 diamond with Rashford and zirkzee.. tired legs at 60 bring on mount, hojlund, amad and garnacho play 433.. Tactics and substiutions for a upcoming "Europa" game killed this match, where is hunger to push for the win still at 80mins.. why not bring mount, antony at rb... And bruno man its disappointing now..

to be successful in this day and age u must be a good possession team. man utd can't be a good possession team with bruno on the field. 4 years ago he was class because we didn't play possession football. times have changed he is completely useless now. the only thing bruno has is chances created which is just deceiving. chance created is a thing once a player shoots a ball. bruno can tap the ball 5 feet to another player and if they take a shot it's a chance created for bruno. rubbish player.

Serious question; Is Bruno the type of player suitable for this style of football. He looked out of place especially with his ball retention. Same with Rashford, to me he is having the same problem Lineker and Henry had at Barcelona

That is the conundrum which has become eth problem from day 1 having mix of players who can retain ball vs who are too direct , zirkzee for bruno at 10 is one solution which i can see

It is foolishness for anyone to think ten hag is not reviving man united... Even against Liverpool; that last pass b4 a goal was missing and finishing was poor 2 things have to improve though: Bruno needs a competition; mount needs to be starting, I hate his non-chalance - he is not world class enough to be attempting ridiculous skills. 2ndly... mainoo can be benched... Ugarte has to be given chance to grow Mainoo can't learn to pick up certain skills inside the pitch; He can only learn by observing from outside.
