The term "manifestation" simply turns off many people because of the rich girl TikTok trends. What we're really trying to do is "lifestyle design". Design the daily life of the greatest version of you. Health, wealth, relationships. Then you start doing the things that person would do, bit by bit and build momentum. You can't just "manifest" your soulmate. You have to become a different person.
@iamatenamorelli
@iamatenamorelli Жыл бұрын
I both agree and disagree with this! The term manifestation has been washed over by so much garbage that it’s definitely a turn off as times. Though, the experience of manifesting a soulmate can be from becoming an entirely different person or you can authentically begin the process of choosing love as who you Be (and allowing all your standards in life to begin changing). A lot of healing of the heart can happen within a relationship, and the full completion of “becoming a new person” will often happen within the manifested relationship ♥️♥️♥️

I love this. This year I took meditation and yoga more seriously. I also started a manifestation journal and writing positive affirmations on the daily. It totally changed how I perceived myself and the level of self worth. I grew up struggling immensely with this. What’s crazy is that I had a dip and tried going back down to a lower baseline but realized I just couldn’t allow myself to return to past negative habits and mindsets. The truth of that is so much deeper and stronger. And it set me free.

Manifestation involves the belief that you can attract and create the reality you desire through focused thoughts, intentions, and beliefs. While some people find comfort and motivation in practicing manifestation techniques, it is important to acknowledge that it is not a foolproof method for achieving all your goals. It can be a helpful tool for setting intentions and visualizing success, but it is crucial to couple it with realistic action and hard work. It's important to strike a balance between positive thinking and taking practical steps towards your goals. 💪🏻

The truth is that all these manifestation techniques do absolutely nothing. The only way they can help is if it keeps you trying to do things that get you closer to your goal. There is no attraction, only actions can get you there and everything else is just Alice in Wonderland!!

Letting go, LITTERLY NOT CARING AT ALL IF IT COMES OR NOT BC IN THAT MOMENT HERE AND NOW YOU ARE FULL OF LIFE. AND THAT ALONE IS WHAT WE ARE BASICLY SEEKING FOR. WHICH THAN MANIFESTS WHAT YOU " GOD " ALREADY KNOW WANTS OR DESIRES. AND THAT ALSO MEANS YOU DONT HAVE TO THINK OR ATTRACT ANYTHING FROM WITHIN FIRST. ALL YOU HAVE TO BE... ( BE ) IS THAT FEELING YOU FELT WHEN YOU OPEN UP NINTENDO WHEN YOU WERE 8. OR WHEN YOU WORKED SO HARD AND GOT YOUR FIRST STRAIGHT As. Example, I USE 2008 World Series to make me feel good in the now. It is my go 2!!! Also I have hours of video footage of 1999-2002 of nightclubs in Philly back when I was in my 20s. So I love music, I make music, I love certain things in life, so instead of " imagining " what I want, I basicly focus on just feeling REALLY GOOD as if I already have those things. And THAT is the magic in my opinion.

@@seanguzy9601 hmm I think it's a normal life process, we want something, we make effort to get it, we fall for the setback, we keep going again until we reach it. Same with how we want to ride a bicycle, we see ppl have it, we want it, buy it, we learn and fall over and over until we could ride it. Manifestation is more like a magical word use by marketing stuffs nowdays in trends while it's just a common sense and a normal thing. Ppl just put way too much into it. Just set your goal, set what you want, work on it until you get it and pray to God everystep along the way and when you have it give thanks to God for His help. since we're not God, lol. We may be part of Him for He is the one that make us, but it doesn't mean literally that we are god ,lol. We don't give breath to life, we can't command the sun nor controlling the weather or walk on lake. We still need to know that we're His children but we're not our parent (God), we need to show our gratitude in prayers and respect for His kindness and the life He give to us.

It makes me so sad that Roxie believed she was ugly and worthless. She's absolutely BEAUTIFUL, inside and out! That would be obvious to anyone interacting with her. Gratefully, she's healed past that lie to grow closer to her truth that she is beautiful and has an important purpose on this Earth right now. I've been studying manifesting for at least 25 years by now. I'm 55 and had my first exposure to energy work at age 14 or 15 and just kept learning from there. I think my first exposure to authors writing about manifestation was when I read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill in my twenties. And I've read all the Abraham-Hicks books and many many others. I think I'm pretty good at deliberate creation these days and don't really need to read more on the subject anymore, other than because it's just such an important and interesting topic and I enjoy it. But, I'm going to head over to Amazon to purchase Roxie's 2 books anyway because I love supporting people like her who have overcome so much and survived and are now helping heal the world as well. She is a hero and I want to support her work. Headed to Amazon now! Thank you both for this great interview. 🥰 ... UPDATE: I listened to the whole thing until the end AND I already purchased her book Manifest the 7 Steps (and the other one is in my cart for next payday). Thank you both! 🙂

I disagree that you can't manifest a lottery win or good weather. Visualise it, feel it, speak it, then let it go. You embody the feeling of a lottery win, but you still have to feel happy and grateful for your current situation. Imagine the perfect weather, but be adamant it won't ruin your day either way, so you have no attachment. There are no limitations!

Thanks, Ali, it was an insightful one. It happened to pop up on my feed and I am grateful for that. I have personally known about this concept of manifestation for 5-6 years and have manifested quite a lot of things but still, the skeptic inside me refuses to actually let me go big with what I want. The way it connected the idea of self-worth with manifestation is something to ponder on. Also, the idea of it not being a ritual is such an important one as YT is literally full of manifestation rituals and stuff! It's actually a way of life, involving thoughts, actions, and behaviors. It's basically, living your life as the person worthy of that success, you want deep within your heart. Honestly, it's the first time in a few months, that I could sit through an hour-long video which is not a true crime video...(Yes, I am addicted)...So, Thanks for this. Love from India. ❤

I walked past this book in Waterstones a few weeks ago and dismissed it as not for me straight away. I took a u-turn after hearing this. The underlying takeaway for me was that changing your mindset to one of, say, confidence can of course massively influence your actions and therefore what you “get back” from the world. No need to invoke supernatural factors (as I confess I thought was where this concept came from), instead it’s about the return your (more *likely*) to get from working harder, having the self-belief to commit to the work, but firstly guiding you to a place where that self-belief comes easier. I see that as nothing but a reasonable approach to achieving your goals and have even bought the book out of a deeper curiosity.

The physical world is a reflection of what you’re projecting with your everyday thoughts. It’s like a mirror…if you look in the mirror and you seen a frown, you wouldn’t go over to the mirror and try to adjust it so that you could see a smile, you know that you have to adjust yourself to see that smile…that’s the nature of reality. YOU ARE ALWAYS MANIFESTING…. it’s not something you have to try to do. The thing is…are you a deliberate manifestor or are you manifesting by default…either way, the Universe is constantly responding to what you are emitting. You are a frequency and you are always emitting some type of signal through the thoughts that you are thinking! Your emotions let you know where you are and what’s coming! So the key is choose the thoughts that make you FEEL happy. You don’t have to deliberately think about what you want, that is already known by universe through the life that you’ve been living. When you experienced contrast (something you didn’t prefer) you automatically chose its opposite. The key is to take your attention (your focus) off the contrast…ie: your thoughts about it, your complaining about it, your retelling the story about it etc. Energy flows where attention goes! You are the creator of your own reality… Your job is to allow yourself to receive what it is you’ve been asking for and you do this by maintaining a high vibration and this is achieved by staying in a place of positivity…happy thoughts! NOTHING is more important than that you feel good! This truly is all that is required… Meditation is very helpful…20 min each morning of quieting your mind, will raise your vibration and when you do this on a consistent basis, it becomes easier and easier to access the higher vibrational thoughts! This is your natural state of Being but most humans are regretting the past or worrying about the future. Very rarely are they present in the Now moment which is where all your power lies and which is all there really is. Just be mindful of the thoughts you choose and choose pleasurable ones! When you catch yourself thinking one that doesn’t feel good, redirect to something slightly better and you will move yourself up the emotional scale! Abraham-Hicks is a wonderful teacher of this and it’s where I learned about the true nature of reality.

Manifesting “I don’t chase. I attract. What belongs to me will simply stay” => The “chase”/ pursuit of positive experience paradoxically lead to lnegative feelings because you empathize what you lack rather than appreciating what you already have. When you emphasize on what you don’t have it leads to dissatisfaction, inadequacy, and discontent which then generates negative feelings. Instead of constant striking for happiness you should focus on finding meaning in challenges which then generate positive feelings. 2. Become an energetic match Manifesting isn't about getting; it's about becoming. The more you let go, the more you become a match for what you desire. => do u need money to be confident or do you need confidence to make money? The equation works better in reverse (known as the act as if principle). When you “act as if” you already achieved the goals, had the qualities or feelings you aspire to, it will influence your thoughts and your mental state. Which then fuels you to take more actions. This concept exemplifies cognitive behavioral principles. Thoughts, emotions, behaviors are all interconnected. Thus, changing one thing will lead to changes in the others. When we adopt new behaviors, we're essentially rewiring our brains to forge new neural pathways. For example, consistently 'acting as if' you are confident can strengthen the neural circuits linked to confidence. Over time this practice can make confident behavior more natural and ingrained => reinforcing a confident mindset.

this actually remind me like when we are a kid, we can ask our parents to give us what we want. But now when we're older, we realize we just need to put extra effort to get what we want, so we need patience and perseverance and our support is God, family and friends. And when we reach our goals, don't forget to pray to God for His help and kindness

The sad thing is, that everybody IS manifesting, but most people are not aware of it and often manifest what they fear most ... or what is been shown to them in media and elsewhere, without knowing that they ARE manifesting it. 😮 Manifestation is already described clearly in the bible, Joseph Murphy wrote extensively about it. If we would not have been put so much crap in our minds, we would do it naturally. Thank you both for this episode ❤❤

you're so right Everything we have we have manifested (often subconsciously). I agree that most of the negative is about low/non existent self esteem - most religious programming in my case ("not worthy" etc).

@@markgory6847 yes, unfortunately religions haven't really distributed the good informations. Jesus stated that the priests block the gates to the kingdom of heaven, let no one through and do not go through themselves... But these times are over now.

Bullshit. How come we don’t manifest wealth, health and satisfaction then? Why can people only seemingly manifest bad things? BECAUSE ITS A LIE.
@prinnydod

hmm I think it's normal life process, we want something, we make effort to get it, we fall for the setback, we keep going again until we reach it.

Despite knowing a fair a bit about manifestation and having manifested some very significant events in my life in the very recent past and to be fair even now, I was feeling quite low. This podcast has reached me at a time where I needed it the most. Very grateful. Her words were something I needed to hear and have given me an insight I really needed. Who knows I might have manifested this video haha. Thank you for this!

Something that stuck with me is that we should make manifestation part of our everyday lifestyle and not just a thing. Also she has made me believe without doubt that I can change my reality without being lucky. You know society makes us believe that we have to be lucky to change our reality. Manifestation doesn’t work on only lucky human beings. It works on anyone who is willing to practice and live it. God knows how much I needed this 🙏. Thank you

For me the skeptic explanation to her jay shetty thing would be that because she set out this specific goals, even before making her book, unconsciously she is writing it for all of those goals and as she said looking unconsciously for those opportunities . Plus it’s something that she really loves, and jay covers kinda the same subjects, so I feel like there was a good possibility for her to accomplish her book goals

What I think most people are missing is manifestation is nothing more than prayer, whatever your religious beliefs. In its truest form is a collective divine blessing to help ourselves, others, and the world as a whole. Imagine the good we could do if we all stopped focusing on manifesting a new car or whatever and focused on manifesting a peaceful planet free of violence or plentiful food so no one starves and so on. We are all worthy of a plentiful life but not without the balance of helping others have that too. That's the collective oneness most people manifest right now, like on tiktok miss.

My parents were always content and taught us to be content which is great. And I always thought just accepting things as they come and not challenging the status quo was a safe bet. But as I grew older, I realised that though I was a smart person, I never excelled in anything -- career , marriage, etc. This made me resentful. In retrospection, I saw I always settled for less as I never bargained. I sort of undervalued myself in this journey. Even to date, I have resistance in asking for more. Im really not sure what was that that was ingrained me that just let's be settle, lets me take the 💩!

I think the question about winning the lottery is possible. The thing about that is a lot of people have a thought process that it’s a luck and impossible to win so in turn you’re saying it won’t work for me. It all comes down to what you truly believe inside.

I like the fact that she is aware of the science or the logic behind it and she passionately yet simply describes it unless like many other. So many people on the internet make manifestation sounds like witch craft. For me It's simply training your subconscious mind and brain to get what you desire by working towards them and saying 'no' to any other distraction comes your way in that process. It creates discipline and sweeps mess making your life a neat and clear one.
