Only 1st and 2nd points are valid. After driving automatic, you will not want to shift to manual due to automatic's comfort in traffic and easy shifting. Not to mention, most of the automatic drivers are shifting to DCT allowing for both manual and automatic. It even has paddle shifters so you can change the gears easily. Not only does it provide you comfort while gear shifting, but it is also safer than manual, because both of your hands will be on the steering.

You are right but nowadays, automatic transmissions are coming very smooth and they also downshift gears if they are accelerated fast (in case of overtaking). Also you can up and downshift as per your need in an automatic car. Though Manual is fun ❤

I was also thinking the same won't the clutch and gear hurt leg and hand over the years. I have learnt to drive since 1 year and i wanted to decide on buying an automatic or manual car and i am stuck on this point. Now you are driving a manual gear shift vehicle to a automatic gear shift system.. why? Yes, because you have control over RPM In manual you can shift gear at much lower RPM but in automatic the car decides when to shift And what I have seen in automatic cars is that they rev to a much higher rpm before gear shifts which is very bad if you looking for mileage
