Man, this topic hit different! Some very profound truths being spoken, it's difficult to hear but vital if change is really going to happen. Thank you Oshay for being bold and brilliant about saying the things most of us aren't brave enough to. Major props to Maitain for giving a considerate and thoughtful take on this from your perspective. And Joanita, really you just add an element of genuine purity and innocence mixed with your own brand of intelligent expression that strikes a perfect balance with these two gentlemen. The #1 podcast in Africa, by far! 💯

Exactly. We need to build our infrastructure in our communities. We definitely work together as a team in our Food Forest Project ( men and women). It all happens at the “grassroots level “. We all matter. We can make a difference. We are doing our best to be the change we want to see in our communities. Well done!

Black people have gems in Africa gold diamonds or type of minerals I took the white man and even the Chinese to come to Africa to make it valuable which means we could have did it first if we had sense but Blackmon of the usual is weak. Sometimes it's embarrassing to be black but it is what it is but hopefully things are changing black people time to rise and think I work for myself as one.. and black people now just beginning to know the potential of Africa the continent of Africa if we did this years ago we would be the Concourse of the world not the white man..

What Africa has always valuable not because of the whites and Chinese. More importantly Africa is only as valuable if her people on the continent value. And disagree we couldn’t have done it first knowing issues at hands tht we have to deal with. Just be glad we’re able to be in a better position now know about Africa than before.

Why do we care what yt people think, say or do? Why is their opinion of us important? We should render them irrelevant, inconsequential and immaterial to our psychological profile. As the late Dr. Amos Wilson pointed out: "As we transform ourselves, they in turn will also be transformed."

Our currencies have no purchasing power. As long as Africa does not have a single currency, our economies will continue to beg. Africa needs a strong currency to face the dollar and the euro. - Africa needs to create a pan-African united front. - Africa doesn't need bosses, Africa needs leaders to manage the African economy. As long as we are disunited, we will be hostage to neocolonialism.

Good but not great podcast. No issues with many of your points, but I have heard them in different variations for years. My question to the panel, I and many others watching are well versed in the negatives of some aspects of our various communities. What I want to know what is the grand strategy that you all propose that “black” people should follow to achieve the goal. Changing a society is difficult. Infusing the will in an abused people to change their reality is hard work. Changing the narrative in all areas of the information space in a manner that will create internal and external change is a long game. None of these effects will not take hold without a grand strategy. Not a “strategy” but a “grand strategy.” What strategy do you propose?

What I don’t agree with Oshay about FBAs not being taken seriously because we don’t are not ready to act as far as battling is that FBAs can be wiped out at any point. That is what the civil rights era demonstrated. Many FBAs were blackballed, blacklisted, and/or killed, but when the smoke cleared, they were abandoned and forgotten. Look what happened to the Panthers. Oshay needs to see Marooned by Tariq Nasheed and consider and recontextualize his opinion. However, what I do agree with him is on how the elite FBAs fail their communities and they don’t realize how it has far-reaching effect on themselves. If we had a united front within the Black community, including Africa, both parties could benefit exponentially. But when we try to go to Africa to resettle, we are often met with red tape, indifference and animus. We have to change from the inside first.

Now as far as the motherland , no other group of people will respect another group of people ...( when said group accepts bribes ,to allow tainted medicines into their country ) , knowing that these tainted medicines will do harm to your own people . Tell me , how can you expect others to respect you , when you sell your own people out like that? . All of those poor children that died in Senegal , Nigeria and the Gambia from tainted cough syrup from INDIA ....how do you think that tainted cough syrup got into those countries ? I'm its true. Any Black people making KZbin? Look at content creators. A white content creator will work on their content then one day make their own project. A Black content creator will make the same content forever hoping for white money to notice them and sign them to a deal. One wants to make their own product, one can't wait to be a product. You can't get ahead like that.

about the intro though, i understand the history of the relationship between "races" in America. i would be slightly cautious to say that we are "what they let us be." i'm sure that relationship goes both ways. they let us be what they allow and we let them be what we allow. we're always socializing one another. Loving v. Virginia was a white man and a Black woman... on the surface it looks like a lawsuit for a marriage so that's what i'll take it as. i've never heard of an coercion to get the Negro woman to marry him so i wont assume coercion. the point is that socialization goes both ways. they were definitely bold to pull of all of the k*llings back in the day but there's cameras everywhere today, lots of technology. ther's probably too much technology today with AI but that's a different conversation.

i'll tell you what... i've listened to 10:52 of this and i hear a lot of good, important points. want to put an end to all of the k*lling and such? stop talking...(for the sake of the speaker)! we dont need any more words in this day and age... look at what happened to Tate. he's just the most recent of the speakers who's gotten hemmed up in the system because of his words. move quietly. when was the last time you heard an Asian leader go on for hours about the state of affairs in their country? we've gotten enough words from our kingship. calm down, settle down and do the work. Oshay might say that we need to be more united but that's not true in my opinion. we need certain groups of ppl (classes if you will) to stick together and draw hard lines between them and ppl outside of said "class." the problem is that Negros dont listen? fine. we dont need all Negros to listen. the smart ones will. the rest are expendable to their own life path. you cant save everyone but you can save yourself and that's truly good enough.

If you look closely, you'll notice that: - The Kwanza has no value in the West. - The Mozambican metical is worth nothing in the West or East. - The Rand is worthless in the West. - The dinar is not valid in the west. - The Naira is also worthless in the West. - The Sao Tome and Principe fold is not valid in the West and East Have you noticed that no Afrikana currency has value in the West or in the East right? Now think with me: - How are we going to have a strong economy, guarantee local trade if our currencies are weak?
