I am old enough to remember growing up in 80s through to the 90s. Society was so different back then. People were so sociable, I could walk into a Pub or Night Club back then on my own, and be invited to an after party or back to someone's house to chill. And dating back then was effortless, girls use to look forward to meeting up for a date, and ghosting never happend. I think society started to change back in the late 2000s. I am 50 now, and I work the Doors over the weekends in Pubs and Clubs, I have noticed young people stay amongst their own group, and rearly talk to other people. And it even rarer to see girls leaving with boys at the end of the night, unless they are a couple. That never happened back in my day, everyone was leaving with someone and heading back for bedroom fun... It's like the new generation of youth ain't having sex.. 😮

Well you cant force man to pay anyway
@NeoRelic-o8p3 күн бұрын
@tonyp.bahama9368 Yes you can. It's the law. If he doesn't pay he goes to jail.

Brother it is just me in my life, as "it" is just you in yours. Do you know what? Other people have experiences in their lives too.

True people have become more selfish. I have 2 really genuine mutual friends. I have known them for a long time. Now it's not that we see each other every week. However, I am sure that if 1 calls the other for help, the other will be there. That's already proven. The rest are people I know, common interests...and there's a bound, but not sure if’they will be there in case of an emergency.

When it came to my old group of mates i always told them dont bother me at home!😂 i will come seee them. Im bit of introvert lol my old group of mates turn their back on me in the end anyways. Especially my best mate. I notice after i started out achieving him he became bitter. Then i suddenly loss my old man in may 2015 to a heart attack. I found him in our shed, to this day it deeply effects me. I often dream about my old man. He was nicknamed by ones who loved him "wanker of a dutchman " as he loved taking the piss out of people and he expexted you to dish it back to him but if u didnt he would take the piss even harder. My old man also had a heart of gold, he was a big teddy bear and would be there to help anyone that needed it. All my mates including my best mate attended his funeral and wake. They all said to me to reach out if i ever needed some support. A coupl months after things started turning really sour between me and a girl id been seeing on and off for couples of years So i reached out to my mates, specifically my best mate but to my surprise only having door slammed in my face. I was some what baffled🤷♂️. Turns out this chick had been hanging out with my mates while i was flat out dealing with all that comes with a family membrr passing away. She was spewing false accusations that i was committing DV against her. Truth is it was her who suddenly became violent and abusive after i unknowingly uncovered by asking her for help that she was lying and cheating on a bf she kept secret. She didnt want her dirty littlw secret out so she destroyed me and my life and my so called mates beleived her with out hesitation!😂 my mates didnt even like her Cause she had an out of control little girl. Her relationship with her little girl was bad! She had no idea how to deal with her little girl and so i helped her and by the time she fkd me over and threw me out of their lives her little girl was well behaved and they had a great relationship. My best mate pulled me aside at one event and told me if a baby sitter couldnt be sortrd for the little girl then dont bring em, i told him to get fkd!😂 but yeh they instantly beleived her lies and sided with her🤷♂️😏. My mates never even made an attempt to get myside of the story🤷♂️🤣. My best mate definitely ddint like seeing me start to succeed more then him so must have been so satisfying for him to see me eventually have a complete emotional and mental breakdown not to long after. But shit happens im bsck on my feet and quite happy sticking to myself these days. Well i do have my many dogs!😁 and im still in the family home my old man built back in 1995👍. I still sleep in my childhood bedroom😂👍

Hi there, hope you have a great day yourself.! Thank you for that powerful message . You are 100% on the money with this shite going on now days . Eric Clapton wrote a song " Nobody Know You When You Down and Out" is that ring a bell? . I have really strong belive that you need rellay extra careful on yourself first but then on all these Dark Triad Psyhopaths, Tik Tok Narcissist and Machiavellians . All what you need is a peace in your live and thats real value, a cat, a dog, six strings on your aul guitar maybe. Go to your gym get jacked talk to real people you meet in real life .

When you are married. Stop drinking. And do your job good at work. Then you will see who your true friends are. I have 2 friends. That is it.

I somewhat disagree because while I certainly think you should make good connections with good people, I also think that once you see people's true colors you can meet them where they are. If they are an ah then you can be an ah back. Sometimes your life is more fun with some ah in your life than without him. You just have to understand that they are an ah and treat them as such. When all is said and done a lot (perhaps a majority) of people are ah, and cutting off most of humanity could lead to boredom
