I think us men must take this risk, despite the seemingly overwhelming amount of naysayers who are trying to silence the likes of Dr. Peterson and Andrew Tate(I haven't heard of this hamza person). Not only because what they say makes sense, but also there's little else, if any, other way to go forward. Dr. Peterson also said something along the line of "I'm curious as to where this goes, let's see what happens".

The section on not staying in my mentors shadow really made me think I don’t have a lot of good mentors in IRL (I have a lot of good ones on KZbin tho) so I just take gold nuggets from people but it makes me mad cause like you said I feel like a sacrificial lamb since they don’t always take their advice back to my question how do I make myself unique, special, different, authentic without coming of like a clone I think I may need examples what makes a student different from a teacher once they learned almost everything a teacher had to offer.

Its quite complex I have to admit, but its basically injecting a bit of your personality, preference or tweaks that you can do to improve and distinctify whatever you have learned from your mentor. Like maybe you've imitated his style & routine, but you make subtle tweaks around it to suit your preferences & circumstances better
