@@JR-iz1ee I think it's possible that you find someone who will love all of you including the ugly parts. Finding a good partner is hard under any circumstance. On your other point I think that no matter how open you are with someone there will always be parts of you that only you can know. Also keep in mind this is not a matter of of good vs evil. It's a matter of socially acceptable or not. Something that has helped me is writing down my thoughts. Keep a journal and start by being honest with yourself, without judgment. Don't try to deny your wants, fantasies or desires, bring them all to light even if you don't share with anyone. By writing it down you are recognizing it exists as a part of you. And remember again in this context darkness does not mean evil, it means hidden. I think that's an important distinction.

It's a core concept of the Gospel that man is deeply, utterly wicked. This is no surprise. But the Gospel also says man is redeemable because God says so and Jesus died on the cross for man to be reconciled and reformed to be just like Him. Sacrificial, loving, humble. You then acknowledge the innate evil in you and resolve to allow yourself to be changed and made better because of the grace God gave you.

Definitely feels like everyone has varying degrees of all of these. However I don't feel like all of these apply to everyone. They definitely apply to most people though. For me personally: Violence - Nah. Even when I was hallucinating and losing my mind and couldn't control my emotions due to sleep deprivation for many many months from working too many hours in a fast paced stressful work environment, I never hurt anyone. Now that I've gone through that experience, I won't let myself get that close ever again, so I should never hurt anyone out of rage. Greed - As a kid growing up, almost nothing made me happy, so when I discovered video games could make me happy, I just wanted to have all the video games to have all the experiences to not feel bored or depressed. However, as time goes on the more I choose to not let myself want things, the more relaxed and happy I am. The older I get, the more I want nothing. Still gonna want enough money to live in a house with enough food and a place to sleep though. Hard to think, exercise, or anything else to take care of yourself when you're sleep deprived. Also the ability to communicate with people through the phone or internet is invaluable because people are often so busy nowadays that there won't be time to exchange ideas. Lust - Man I just want hugs. Quite a few people want me to do sexual things with them, but all I wanna do is talk and relax. I dunno if I'm asexual, or just a pansexual with a really really low sex drive. After all, whenever I accidentally slip into the habit of having some chocolate, I realize I get horny everyday when that happens, more so with dark chocolate. Been looking into ways to be a bit more sexually active, buuut being cautious as I have too many other things that are much higher priority. Deception - I've always told myself to never lie. With that said, I do steer conversations to be a certain way. Usually either for a joke, or so someone focusing on improving and being happy instead of looking for excuses to hate others. The description used for highly decptive people in this video does follow closely with the most manipulative people I've ever known. They know how to ride the line between what is bad and what is acceptable. I most definitely like the advice at the end there, I can't say anything about it but I needed to say that it was great. Vengeance - I've had many reasons to want revenge because of how some people treated me growing up, but I never let myself give into that. Why I thought that ever since I was a kid, I dunno. Probably Batman TAS with the many characters going through negative feelings and the episodes having a recurring theme of it's okay to feel those emotions, but not allow them to make you do terrible things to others. Now revenge has always felt great if it just so happens to come alongside something I was going to do anyways. I just never let it become a determining factor of my choices, I have too many other things to worry about. I do not blame people for giving into revenge though, hatred is one of the most powerful motivators out there. However, hatred is like playing with fire, if used improperly, you'll burn yourself and everyone else around you. Far too often I've seen people let revenge ruin everyone's lives, and it doesn't even make them feel better, it just makes their own life worse. I'll probably never go into revenge again because I gotta say listening to Baiken's theme from Guilty Gear Strive makes me feel all sappy because it's basically her going through the whole phase of giving into revenge most of her life. Eventually she stops and is now trying to stop going after revenge, and stop others from walking the painful path that she chose. Now she's trying to heal, instead of giving into revenge. Narcissism - Definitely guilty of this one. Always tried to improve, so it feels nice to look back and see the progress I've made, but it can leave me to be overconfident sometimes. I have to remind people to let me know if I'm doing dumb things. Overall amazing video. Gave me something to ponder before sleeping. I look forward to seeing your other videos. I see Guts from Berserk in the thumbnail about self improvement, so I'm already intrigued.

@@jrkasaurus I often talk with friends about things to make sure we don't do dumb things, that way I can fix whatever it is if I'm doing something bad. Though I didn't quite take into consideration that they might be glossing over and denying bad things about me as well, or maybe pretending that the bad thing might be a trait they like about me so I don't realize it's bad. Which can definitely lead down the road of, if everyone thinks it's good, is it bad? Then a whole slippery slope of other questions. After all, what's acceptable in some places, it looked down upon in other places. I do know I'm not 100% self aware. I have noticed that sometimes when watching back videos of myself playing games to finally get around to editing a video, but it's been too long to remember the game, I'll just do the same thing and be in the same mindset as what happens before the event in the game. Freaked me the heck out the first few times it happened because it made me realize that while people can always be thinking about multiple options on how everything is to avoid falling into traps, there is times where the brain will railroad into doing the same option and fail again, even though you supposedly learned from it in the past. Why that is I dunno. Perhaps it was a situation that led into a state of autopilot, or perhaps other life stuff bringing decision making back to where it originally was. Of course, some games are specifically designed to trick you with your decisions though. Also, spent most of my life playing video games alone or with randoms online, and never had a chance to talk about life stuff. So when I got VR and was able to talk about personal matters, it made me realize just how little I knew about myself because there never was a time for such things to be brought up. I know a lot more about myself than I previously did, but it makes me wonder just how much more of myself I do not know about. Of course, people do change overtime, so it's impossible to know everything about oneself at any moment in time. Sorry if that was a bit of a ramble, just about to head to sleep. Thanks for the interesting comment = )

@@ameybirulkar7503 my impression on the comment is that it takes someone truly capable of evil to be good. that is, we all walk this grey line and whether or not you integrate your shadow will depend on your ability to know evil and overcome your mind or let evil overcome you which generally translates to deviating to the dark side. You generally don't want to be the good guy all the time lest you get walked over. Definitely dealt with some darkness on the lust end of the spectrum. I've never actually done anything or acted any of it out in real life but I had a slightly sexual relationship with a cousin when we were kids growing up and I think it did something to me. I found myself having sexual thoughts about a cousin once removed that I'm not too proud of. Just saw her at a family get together one year and she had grown up and gotten real pretty. Obviously I've never talked about any of this with anyone as I'm obviously ashamed of these thoughts. I'm pretty sure I never would act on those thoughts as I never have the type to do anything illegal (aside from some substance issues over the years) but it scares me where I've gone in my head with this fantasy before.

I think I know my darkness pretty well. And luckily, I convey most of these traits in a healthy and productive manner, except for one: Lust. I try my best to include sensuality into my life by practicing tantra for years and writing erotic fiction, which has a really well reception, that makes me very proud of it. But dates usually don't go in any sexual direction, which honestly starts to slightly scare me, since I don't know if what I do will be enough to keep me the way I am and want to be. Will conveying your intentions really be enough to keep you in check? Or will the lack of actual sexual encounters with others slowly make you snap one day? That would be my biggest fear... I can handle pain, but I wouldn't want to inflict suffering on others.

Depression is real if your attitude is allowing it. Depression happens because you're not significantly content/satisfied with your surrounding circumstances, whether it is due to your traumatic/tragic past, boring/tedious present or extremely anxious future, its all due to your deprecatively amplified, emotional & metaphysical attachments to them all. Your lack of energy/interest is because of this very reason. You must not let those unfavourable circumstances define your entire value/identity of existence. The best way to get rid of it is to "Progress" in life, learn new skills, create new memories, have new objectives to complete and achieve. Think of the type person you want to be for your own sake, like a role model/movie character you look up to, seek some form of inspiration, it will help you tremendously. Learn to be emotionally unattached/minimize emotional attachment, so that you can move on quickly without wasting precious time & energy with overthinking & wallowing in despair when bad things happen to you. THIS IS A MUST. It takes time to condition your mind to become unattached, and the first thing you must know & understand is that, sh*t happens everywhere & to everyone. Do not let the perfectionistic depiction in social medias fool you into thinking that you're the only one whose life is not going the way you want it to be. Hundreds of millions of people are also suffering the same thing but they kept it hidden because they don't want to apprear negative. And for good reason, because unless you're a hot woman, no one would give a sh*t. Life is f*cking hard for most men and that is how it should be. Find your strongest reason to live brother. A reason that only meant a lot to you. Mine is simply "I don't want to die a complete loser. Either I become a winner or I die trying & fighting to be a winner. Because I don't want any regrets when I die. Its the worst feeling to know that your life is nothing but a waste of time & effort" Its only you who knows yourself best. Find that utmost reason to live. A reason that you would want to fulfill regardless even the world is against you. Sometimes it may take you to experience an extremely life altering event to trigger that reason into clarity, but then again, your "ATTITUDE" towards it is everything. It can either turn your life completely around, or make your life way worse

I agree with you on a lot of the points made, except for the sex part. Many philosophers believed celibacy to be a step to enlightenment and I think showing control over sexual urges means you're mentally evolved. Just because we desire something doesn't mean we should act on it and in the same way, psychopaths could desire to kill people but know that it's wrong and therefore don't do it, if that makes sense. Yes, we have all these urges but I don't think we give our minds as much credit as we could, and I fully believe it's possible for people to learn to have control over their own minds.

Just found this channel on account of me loving to watch serial killer documents. This video came up on my feed obviously because of my serial killer docs algorithm, so i gave it a shot. Everything you said is true, we have all had our deep and dark thoughts before about what it would be like if we killed someone or raped someone, hence why i love watching serial killer docs because i like to try to understand what drove them to kill. Most times they are born with loose screws and sometimes they are made into killers because of the child abuse and poor family ethics, amoung other things. So i think we can all be serial killers if we wanted to but, we hold back because we have a bigger concience and remorse that we were taught. But most killers were born into troubled families or family physical and mental abuse and they bottle that up until its too late and start killing people, then enjoy killing people and even get aroused like Jeffery Dahmer when killing a person. In conclusion, i think we are all capable of killing and have a sense of evil but we learn to oppress the thoughts because we know its wrong. And like Richard Ramirez said, “i think we are all evil in a sense, are we not”.

I have read a book about this 7 years ago and it helped me a lot since i was Christian and though that perfection is something i should seek for, even though attempt of perfection is the biggest sin of them all. Every man should express all their emotions because a dangerous man that has self control is safer than a Man that is labeled as harmless.

Its like Yin and Yang. Two halves of a whole. To become enlightened is to reveal one's own darkness. We cannot see without light, and that is why we fear the dark; because we do not know what is there until the light reveals it to our eyes.

The lust thing can also apply to women but for the most part it does seem to affect men on a extreme physical/psychological level.

This is a good lesson and quilty video. When I made my self open to my darker traits, they became more like fuel for my positivity and made me more expressive, satisfied. "Darkness isn't evil, it is what makes it seem that way" I use this quote because it saying, you should be open to everything even if you don't like it and always gain more awareness/knowledge. Even then you still don't ignore but listen to gain awareness/knowledge. With that in mind, you either use it for good impact or bad, impact. Inclusion find the balance in your mind. "Your dark traits aren't evil or bad nesessarliy. The person in how they use them is evil or bad". Anyway stay safe and stay you chiefs 🗿👍
