Minnesota simply hasn’t been making open shots, at least everyone but ant. Everyone that ant usually kicks out to, which are normally good 3pt shooter, as evidenced by the fact that they had the best percentage in the league in open threes, just haven’t been making shots in the last two games. Also their best corner shooters are their best wing and transition defenders and when they brick a corner three, it puts these guys behind the play immediately. If NAW, Nas, and McDaniels can start making shots again they can still win this thing or at least bring it to 7 where anything can happen, especially if you have an Ant.

Remember when KAT was one of the best 3 or 4 centers in the league. Some people would take KAT over Anthony Davis and Embiid. Every year Embiid added something to his game. Even after winning MVP Embiid became a better passer and working out of the elbow. KAT has the same offensive game he had 4 years ago. The bully ball drive and the spot up 3 is all he has. He had those 5 years ago. KAT played defense at Kentucky. Why KAT isn't a better player is crazy. KAT used to be the answer to what player under 25 would you start your franchise with. We are so far from that now.

I’ve never been a gobert believer but game 1 almost changed my mind now after seeing these other 3 games I’m convinced that he’s one of the most overrated players ever. He can’t even slow down jokic and is just bad off ball defending. He isn’t effecting any shots at the rim and obviously is a huge liability offensively. Whenever Denver gets a lead they know they can pressure him and get turnovers or just foul and let him miss free throws making Minnesota’s offense useless and takes away scoring opportunities from ant. I've been saying this for years. Karl gets obliterated by every good center in the league and always has. He's just out there getting empty points. He's good at shooting until you need him to actually make important shots and decisions. He makes terrible defensive decisions frequently that have often ended seasons. Like, they'd be MUCH better served with, say, a Lauri Markanen than KAT.

By the end of the game, KAT and Naz were getting put backs just cause Jokic couldn't physically keep up anymore. The deeper, better constructed team won, but I still won't trust KAT in any meaningful scenarios until he does it repeatedly
