I tried changing my diet and adding supplements...and figured out that for me it was genetics making me lose my hair. I kept the diet changes and supplements and then added minoxidil. When I started minoxidil for about 2 years now. I am so grateful. My hair is almost back to where it was before my hair journey started. Yes you do start shedding but it took me 3 months before I looked like I have tons of baby hair growth all over. I use the liquid every 4days. I got headaches after using for several hours(12hrs). It works so well for me, and for someone who is used to having such thick hair all my life it was devastating to have such thin hair at one point in my life.

Minoxidil worked for me, its actually quite good.small and thin hairs started coming after 1 month of usage

@@prajnanammohnty950 there was a slight shedding at the first 3 weeks then everything was alright. You might lose thin hairs but the thick ones will not be affected.

How come? I keep seeing videos using it for 1 2 months and having all ready dark hairs. I'm in my 4th week and nothing changed. I have some velles hairs but are there for ages before. By the way im 30 and i have a very patchy beard. I don't know what to believe anymore but i will continue using it for few months to see what happens.

I took minoxidil for months and it made a lot of my hair shed and never grew any new hair to replace it. I’m taking it orally now and months later there is no change.

I took tablet Minoxidil and finasteride before, it did stop my hair loss, but it caused very worst acne on my face after 6 months. Even my doctor also shock by this rare side effect and did not know which one is the culprit.

Take finasteride 3x a week instead of everyday. It's as efficacious but greatly minimizes side effects

Hey Dr, I’m starting losing hair after five months of using minoxidil never stop but I’m switched to other company from other country. After two weeks I start to losing my hair, so I switch again to the first company and I want to ask if it’s sounds logical? Now I’m using 4 days the old company who actually work very good, but I still have some heavy shading. and by the way, thank you for you're amazing channel learn a lot from you:)

minoxidil will not stop hairloss minoxidil only promotes hair. minoxidil is not addresing the problem DHT thats why you take finasteride to block DHT and use minoxidil to stimulates

Supposedly minoxidil needs an enzyme to work and people deficient of that enzyme would have difficulties with minoxidil working

Can you share details of dosage of oral minoxidil and regime to be followed like daily or thrice a week ?

The dosage is about 2.5 mg to 5 mg daily.

I used equate all it did was cause massive shedding. Switched to Kirkland no shedding but no hair either. Just a massive part line down my head

I have been taking dutasteride for about 5 months and 14 days but to date I don't see any results. Should I wait longer or combine finasteride and dutasteride or switch to finasteride only, also use minoxidil 2ml daily

Use dutasteride (oral) And minoxidil+Tretinoin (topical) on the scalp. The dutasteride slashes sebum production by taking out dht stimulatiom Foe ur sebaceous glands The tretinoin also further suppresses sebum production. good luck

Why are you not mentioning that oral Minoxidil can cause more side effects on the body, like hair growth in places where you don't want it, because it's working systemically and not just topically?

During my 20s minoxidil worked really well as i can see results within 1 month and stopped using the minoxidil after couple years for super satisfied results(usage of 2 years and head full of hair lasted for like 5 years). Last couple years my hair fall trigerred again rapidly and i have started using the minoxidil from past 4 months and i am not able to see even new single hair popping out of my scalp 😢 and i entered my 30s. By the time i reach 40s i am pretty sure nothing will left on my scalp. I am in dilemma like "am i wasting 2000rs per month for nothing as anyway i get bald by 40s😅"

No it gradually decreases after about 6 months in most cases as its just a hair growth stimulate and doesn't address the main problem regarding andogenetic alopecia which is dht so fin is very necessary

Yes it does keep it's efficacy as long as you use it, the only problem is if you are not addressing the root cause of androgenic alopecia, it will catch up and the process will continue making you believe that minoxidil lost it's effectiveness.

@@psychoced437 no its a growth stimulator so it helps in the growth of the hair so yeah in a sense u can say it can reverse the hairloss but that won't be the clear way how it works. Fin decreases the DHT production which is the main cause of hairloss so u can say it stops or reverses the condition but minoxidil works by a different method it doesn't tackle the underlying problem but instead promotes hair growth.

Idk what he said but here’s why minox might not work for some poeple minoxidil needs to be converrd into minoxidil Sulfate by SULT1A1 enzymes on tour scalp and skin. If you have less of these enzymes, minoxidil wont get converted to its active form.

I've been using Minoxidil for over 6 months with no visual results, went through all the symptoms at one point it look like I were getting some progress but now nothing. I used about everything and see no improvement what so ever. I think I'm gonna stop wasting my money on this product

You may try to take oral minoxidil with finasteride. If you do not have enough of the enzyme on your scalp the liquid will not work as well. I was sort of in the same boat till I tried the pill. Just get your heart checked out first.
