@@raytafoya9999 I think it’s because it showed Abraham the extent that God loves humanity. God gave His one and only son as a sacrifice, and Abraham was willing to do the same. It also shows how when we are given blessings, it is God who is truly in control.

accusing someone of not being a christian because of their behaviour is wrong. consider how paul corrected people: 1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

@Nikwunu That verse is taken out of context. In NLT it reads “Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?” It is not talking about judging others. Also, note that Jesus tells us to “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves” Matthew 7:15). These people are those who call themselves Christians, but are actually working for evil. He follows this by saying "You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?" (Matthew 7:16). So, it is not wrong to figure out who is a true follower of God by the way they act. Actually, Jesus tells us to do just that! Also, this video isn’t about accusing people of not being Christian. It’s about modern Christianity’s rejection of Jesus. I’d recommend giving it a watch! 😃

@Jippyjay the context: 1 Corinthians 3:1 KJV And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. my point is that he didn't say they're false christians, but seeked to edify them and help them grow. jesus did not say to judge a person's genuineness by their behaviour, but their words. Luke 6:43-45 KJV [43] For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. [44] For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. [45] A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
