I have now accumulated over 1500 hours in Icarus across 3 zones . MY GO TO GUN IS THE HUNTING RIFLE ! Yes, it's tier 4, and if you aren't a seasoned ICARUS player, it can seem hard to make . If you have icarus maps with the majority of caves marked , it's not hard to craft the gun . If you shoot in stealth mode with normal rifle ammo , polar bears die in 3 shots . As for food combos , the best early 3 items for max stamina are cooked prime meat , bacon, and crispy bacon . You need the pot belly stove to make crispy bacon, which takes iron bars and copper bars and is made on the tier 1 crafting bench.

I think the ammo counter issue might not be a bug, as one of the gun talents gives you a chance for a shot to not use ammo.

@johnpatz8395 i thought that too but I didn't get a notification of getting my ammo back... u can see your ammo used when that talent happens but it never showed during then
