Good morning! Thank you for your prompt response 😎 I am in Southern California now and plan on visiting by Spring to look around. I am originally from the South side and have lived in Little Italy before. @@SamuelCiochon

@@cherylb3676 Of course! My family actually lives in Southern California. What took you out there? Little Italy is also very fun! I went to UIC, so super familiar with the area. :)

Great video. Your agency actually helped me purchase my condo on Hawthorne. Just a few thoughts: The owner of Stella‘s recently purchased the bagel across the street, so we’re worried that he’s going to close one of them, we’re thinking Stella‘s. They’ve already cut back the hours. The area I’d say west of Clark and south of Belmont feels a bit desolate, would be great if more commercial places or restaurants could move there. You should bring the cupcake place back, really the only option is Chicago sugar daddy, which is good, but options If you live along Lakeshore, I would not consider the train. Lots of awesome express buses to get you downtown which will be right outside your door and will make up the time you’ll need to walk the quarter of a mile or so to Belmont/Addison. In the eastern part of the neighborhood, it’s very densely populated, also the sidewalks are extremely narrow, especially on Broadway and Clark. So if you walk a dog or have a stroller may have to plan a bit. The annoyance theater on Belmont, arguably is what second city is to stand up except for improv. Legendary place. Coda di Volpe, and coalfire, I think our two of only maybe five pizza places in the city that have officially been given the stamp of approval by this Neapolitan Pizza council… I don’t know what it’s called, you can look it up. But it’s somewhat prestigious in the Pizza world. It’s interesting how it slows down once you get west of Racine, feels more like Roscoe Village. Don’t be scared off by Swift and Sons, it’s their tavern, which is the more casual outpost compared to the formal steakhouse in the West Loop. Sorry for the long comment, great video as always, really like this series

You forgot to show the tents 🏕️ no highway in Lakeview. Lakeshore drive is in lake view. Driving range is in Lincoln park.
@SamuelCiochon29 күн бұрын
We went under the highway, and no tents were there. Technically the Driving Range is just north of Diversey Ave, so it is considered Lakeview (but in the actual park called Lincoln Park)

you're not suggesting people move to Irving Park and Ashland...the true heart of Lakeview

Irving Park and Ashland is more like West Lakeview and Graceland West. It is a great area, but I didn't have time to walk all the way up there.

The are is busy and fun if you’re not home most of the time. However, the apartments are expensive and are 💩. If you’re gay that’s the spot. If you’re gay but want to pay 25% less go to Anderson ville. Wrigley ville is lake view. If you’re gay or straight but want to save much much more move to rogers park or edge water.
@SamuelCiochon29 күн бұрын
Everyone has their priorities, whether it be style of price - which is why we are producing a lot of these videos. Make sure to check out our first video we did, which was on Andersonville! :) However, even Andersonville itself is expensive.

Broadway is not such a “little street” at all
@SamuelCiochonАй бұрын
Ha ha ha. Yes, but in comparison to a Belmont or a Halsted Street, it is. Little refers to more boutique - lots of amazing spots but all very localized. :) It is definitely a busy street. Lots of foot traffic.
@ledesmastudio6633Ай бұрын
@ I disagree with your statement. Actually Belmont and Broadway are very similar in what they offer, in traffic, and in length throughout Chicago of course, not only in Lakeview. You might want to pay attention to the words you use- little does not mean boutique.
