His channel is worth exactly nothing without him. Mr. Beast is the product that collects revenue. A KZbin channel is just a proxy to do it. If someone thinks that channel will have the same viewership without Mr Beast is delusional.

Except you have to keep working to POSSIBLY make the imaginary amount, and the 1 billion is to do nothing (or reinvest). Also, there's a huge difference in the money his fans have to spend, vs those watching the superbowl... id be interested to see what profits advertisers see when displayed there.

Who the f would be so stupid to offer him a billion dollars for a youtube channel, its not even an email list. Its worthless without mr. Beast himself for the most part anyways. Sounds sus.

I'm unaware about how those negotiations go... but, could it be so that in the contract he'd be obliged to continue producing the channel, as a main actor too, but the gross benefit of the channel would go to the buying company? Like when a company acquires another but the staff is kept, all under detailed contract conditions. This would provide him a +1 billion income, while he'd be free to produce other channels. And maybe 1 billion is not enough to give up what he earns now and predict to earn in the following years. I don't know, I'm just wondering.
