I used to be...USED TO BE...a Mr A who would allow them to show then disappear. It was at that very first to last part of that phase that I lost myself and became Mr B. I’m glad you were honest about what men look for which is looks. Physical attractiveness and being “in shape” is the #1 thing men look for and they can be blinded by an attractive female. Narcissists prey on attractive women as well to use as their trophy to make them look good. Mine were all obsessed with how I looked and I felt pressure to maintain a certain “look” to be good enough. One even told me he’d leave me if I ever got fat.

My ex and I made a vow, even before we married, that if either one wanted out of the relationship, they would leave before moving on to someone else. Then, here’s an opportunity. Someone willing to commit adultery. So the strung me along the final years of our marriage. It was cruel and unnecessary. A Hoover is a logical next step. Nope over a year secretly having affair and stringing me along until she got caught and her own nephew told me what she had been doing as he overheard her and her own kids knew too and hid it from me as well. The ex narc has a criminal record longer than the Chesapeake bay bridge which I had no idea about until after we got married. Everything from beating on his ex’s to hurting his child.
