The great personality of Mohammad Rafi is above Bollywood and also above Dada Saheb Phalake Award. The voice of Mohammad Rafi is A School of Acting. Dilip kumar became tragedy king and super star only due to the voice of Mohammad Rafi. Without Mohammad Rafi, Dilip Kumar was nothing.

Your commentry is giving wrong information. OP Nayyar sahab never told Dilip Kumar ji a third class actor. Nayyar sahab said, his music makes a third class actor also dance. Nayyar sahab was right because he delivered great hits with top actors such as Dilip Kumar ji, Dev sahab, Shammi Kapoor ji and at the same time he has given super hits with B grade actors too.

O.P.Nayyar was a mediocre music director but highly egoistic. He had problems with many veterans of film industry. From Md. Rafi to Lata Mangeshkar, from Raj Kapoor to Dilip Kumar and Dev Anand. He used Mahendra Kapoor and Asha Bhonsle because of his eccentricity and stubbornness. His career was doomed due to his irresponsible attitude.

Almost all MDs of golden era had self respect and attitude. They had caliber, class and confidence to protect n preserve their self respect. It's OPN ,SDB ,Naushad or Shankar ( Jaikishan) Bahut kisse hain. Kuch galat nahi. MDs should hv attitude because they are behind curtains but contribute great for success of great or mediocre on screen heros- heroines

He was not at all medicare.He is known as erythema king of Hollywood in 50 and 60,s. He was highest paid MD in 60s. gave challenge to Shankar Jai Kishan who were known as Irchestra king and succeed. Remember the songs of Moviie Aar Paar,CID, Mr and Mrs 55,Kashmir ki kali,Merey Sanam,Bahar ey phir bhibaayengey,Kismet,Sawan ki ghata,Pranab jayey par Bachan na jaye etc ,some few to mention.Singer like Samsad Begum,Geeta Dutt and in oerticular Asha Bhosle picked high in there carrier due to OP Nayyar.He found Asha Bhoskey and made his carrier.Dont u Der estimate this great MD.He is a legend though very egoistic, but strict to his timing.
