When this pandemic is over remember who saved humanity. It wasn’t billionaires, corporations, celebrities, or politicians, but nurses, doctors, teachers, grocery store workers, janitors, and drug store employees-i.e, the working class.

I have visited these projects many times due to my job. We should never judge and criticize these people because many of them simply dont have a choice. There are a lot of seniors, disable individuals and single women with children living there. Other people were raised in these plojects and thats the only thing they know. So, for them is their normal life. Please Never judge, life can change in a minute.

Now every 1 in 85 NYC resident is confirmed (over 100,000 now) infected and there is probably a lot more that are asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic that just are not unconfirmed but are virus spreading disease vector zombies.

A lot of unfair comments here. I live in a luxurious complex and they have information posted on every floor. They also installed a Purell pump in the lobby. @Woobie the easy decision is abolishing government and the economy because the system is not designed for everyone to prosper. Never in 100 billion years will government and economy ever be sustainable. There will never be enough jobs for everyone and they will never be able to indoctrinate and control everyone. A system founded on fraud and deception will never thrive. You can copy and paste your excuse for sacrificing billions of souls all you want.

Ms. Black Introvert It is the tenant's responsibility to make sure that they don't live in filth; they should not be throwing garbage in the building, urinating in the hallway in the elevator in the stairwells, destroying the elevators and tagging up property. Regardless of where a person lives they should take pride to keep it neat, clean and safe.

Basically, NYCHA housing is a ticking time bomb because (in the one housing project this guy visited): 1) there are no COVID-19 posters in the lobbies and hallways, 2) they aren't washing the elevators more often, and 3) the elevators can get crowded. The point about access to information is ridiculous. Public housing is not an assisted-living facility. Most residents are just middle to low-income New Yorkers without disabilities and do not need any special treatment. Living in public housing is not glamorous but it is not the tragedy that they make it out to be. Shame on the documentary makers for such a manipulative portrayal and sensational title.

The Rich can ride this out in their multi billion dollar homes on 20 acre lands with all the information, food, supplies, that one could possibly need but us poor people we've gotta hand on tight, get what little we can afford to make it through the month & hope and pray that our family stays safe. If I could pull myself out of this unending poverty I would but it's not as simple as you'd think. The bad ones make it bad for the rest, some threw trash out windows or leave it in stairways. in your video not one was wearing a mask ,they know the news, it could be they feel the city never cared about them before, then why should we care about this attitude.

I don't get this. With a shortage of truck drivers in this nation by 250000 truck drivers as of 2017 which is way worse now. These people can't get out of this situation? The average truck driver makes 40 to $50,000 a year with some making up words of $150,000 a year. Go get a job and they'll even provide you with a place to stay right behind the cab. That's what I did to get myself out of the situation when I was a young adult. Been doing it for 30 years it's been the best choice I've ever made. There's so many jobs to be had out there if people are willing to do them. Totally understand the elderly and we need to get off our butts so does New York City and take care of the elderly in the single mothers and single fathers out there. We need to just get back to family. Because if it wasn't for my neighbors and my family I wouldn't be able to be a single father. Hopefully this virus brings us back to community.
