Facts. Taguchi whom he beat in his fifth fight unified flyweight, donaire became a champ after the first Inoue fight by beating another champ, Moloney is a champ again. And I don't think Inoue has ever fought for a vacant belt (unless you consider the Ring mag belt at 122 right now). He's a lineal champ

You can tell who in the comments didn't watch the video or even watch any of Inoue's fights lol Great video, fantastic logic and reasoning. People forget that P4P is an ever-changing list and recent fights and accomplishments play a big factor. Bud could easily take back the #1 spot if he faces and decimates the right opponents, and so could Usyk. This is like the third or fourth time that Inoue has topped people's P4P lists and it definitely won't be the last. I do want to point out that Inoue's orbital bone was broken in round 2 against Donaire in 2019 and he spent the rest of the fight seeing double. The fact that he was able to outbox and even knock Donaire down (should have been a KO imo) for another 10 rounds is absolutely insane and Inoue proved that he has something in him that no fighter can know they have until it comes time to do or die. A fractured orbital is one of the worst injuries a fighter can sustain in the ring and many fighters have retired from a match because of it (no shame in that, it can be life altering if they keep fighting.) There isn't a single aspect to Inoue's game that we haven't seen on display, and, whether you know the names or not, Inoue has one of the most consistent and solid resumes of all currently active boxers, and saying otherwise just shows ignorance. Liked, commented, and subscribed!

Tell me, how is he pound for pound? He doesn’t fight pound for firefighters like Terrence Crawford so tell me Terrence Crawford was the first two time undisputed champion so tell me how is boy pound for pound number one make no sense
@sirmuffincat663011 ай бұрын
@@legendaryoutkast3506 I literally outlined why in the original comment. You're just proving my point about Inoue doubters being ignorant. Do your research. Watch Inoue's fights. You act like Bud been dominating P4P fighters this whole time but Spence is the only opponent who was considered P4P. And I personally believe he was ranked too high because he was a one dimensional one weight champ who had 2 car crashes before he fought Bud. Tapales made more adjustments and looked more prepared against Inoue than Spence did against Bud. Spence made literally 0 adjustments against Bud. How is that a P4P fighter? If you seriously can't see why Inoue can't possibly be #1 P4P then I suggest you get out of your feelings and do some research. You can have Bud #1 if you want, but I just think you're wrong.

Just because Inoue made it look so easy, people discredit his opponents, he's fighting champions. Smh.

Not all of US. Just specific fanbases. I'm American and I believe Inoue deserves p4p#1 and forty. Spence has some serious neurological trauma that nobody seems to take seriously. I don't think he can even be a prime version of himself at this point. The guy is definitely not the se after his accident.

19 title defenses in 2 different weight classes and folks say who has he fought? 😂😂😂😂😂 we all know the certain folks who hate on the monster he has all the skills and talent of a mega superstar but he lacks color in the boxing world unfortunately because it is mainly dominated by black folks, cut the crap u know what it really is!!!

bro will never be number one he did not fight a pound for pound fighter in dominant fashion . He’s beating fighters that already been beaten before bro is not what you guys make it out to be guys hate on people that are from the US and always hyping up people that are not sad.

Name 5 of Innoue’s opponents! Most of them were bums! If Crawford fought any of them he would destroy them! That’s what makes him pound for pound! He named off all his opponents and said only two of them have names Fulton and Donaire!

Naoya Inoue has a better resume than Crawford and definitely deserves to be #1 pop!

So u don’t know them they are bums? By ur logic everyone is bum except Tyson fury since he beats everyone on the p4p list then Crawford can’t be p4p #1 cause he loses to Tyson fury?

Crawford fans need to give Inoue his credit and stop getting in their feelings!!!!!! Yes, Crawford had a FLAWLESS victory over an undefeated P4P fighter in such a way were it would be considered a case study (reference for future fighters to watch and learn from).. And i'm sure that even Inoue himself watched that fight multiple times to learn from it.. But that's NO WHERE NEAR as impressive as the last fighter Inoue beat - I mean come on !!!! He beat a 5 '4 filipino with 3 losses (2 of which were by way of knock out) for crying out loud !!!!!! Anybody with half a brain cell can see how Inoue's win is more impressive.. Not only does Inoue deserve fighter of the year, he needs to be put over Crawford as P4P #1.
@teamgill111 ай бұрын
Ok I noticed you left out the strength of his opponents. Let’s breakdown his opponents: anyone he fought on the p4p list? All time greats? I know 1 and Nagoya hopped over his weight class. Your logic would throw tank in there both have elite skills but has not fought anyone yet.
@JeffPenaify11 ай бұрын
no comparison whatsoever between Tank and Inoue lmao, Donaire is an ATG of 118 lbs, they fought for lineal championship and unification at final of historic tournament for division. Fulton was a unified undefeated standout at 122, Omar Narvaez is longest reigning flyweight and near longest super flyweight champion, currently in ballot for hall of fame. Inoue has total 21 title fights with 19 KOs, 13-0 11 KOs over world champions, opponents have fought total of 107 title fights. Tank never unified a title or fought the number 1 in any division, Inoue has knocked out the number 1 fighter in 4 divisions lmao
@JeffPenaify11 ай бұрын
Roman Gonzalez turned down a unification with Inoue in 2016 at 115 lbs. Inoue attempted to unify his WBO title with every other major title while he was at 115, he was ranked number 1 his entire tenure at 115 lbs
@user-wr9lh4ly1n11 ай бұрын
All 115 ducked Inoue. He couldn't just sit and wait. Chocolatito dumped Inoue as Chocolatito lost against Rungisai and Inoue wasn't that famous at that time to make a lot of money on HBO, Choco said he rather fight Cuadras so he gets more pay. There is an article on this on Boxingscene. Robert Garcia then said Inoue is the only one who can beat Chocolatito
@koningklootzak778811 ай бұрын
That's not Inoue's fault none of his opponents were on p4p list. Also not important. What's more important is that he fought more title matches. It's about belts than p4p lists. P4p isn't official, belt is. Duh!
