How strange. All we wanted while in a "relationship" with a narcissist was the same love and respect we gave them. When they finally push us to the point where we no longer care about THEIR "respect" but focus on our own self-respect, THAT'S when we get what we wanted but actually no longer even care about. Evil, or being bad, in a general sense, is acting out morally incorrect behavior, or the condition of causing unnecessary pain and suffering, thus, containing a net negative on the world. A good example of a narcissist ego is that of an iceberg, there’s the part you see but beneath the surface is the much larger part that you can’t see. They hide the truth of themselves from their consciousness. They have to come to the proverbial end of themselves and there has to be some kind of benefit for them. You can’t change them. You cannot force them, and your boundaries had better be rock solid. You can bet that they know right from wrong. They have to be able to recognize that they aren’t just harming others but themselves as well. They have to be willing to confront the lies they tell themselves. Like any one with an addiction they have to recognize that they have a problem. Until they come to terms with themselves do NOT give them an inch!! Otherwise they know they have you, GAME OVER!!! Make them prove themselves! They have to seek professional help and do the hard work before you even consider allowing them to get close again in any shape or fashion. Consistency in actions! Words mean nothing! Actions speak volumes! They damn well know they toyed with your heart and then blamed you and tried to ruin your reputation and other relationships. Stay true to yourself first and foremost. Love them from a distance and if they never change walk!

Perfect timing Joe. Feeling that need from them to consume energetically heavily lately. Keeping myself distracted with daily nature outings and keeping my attention in my Heart - on my Spirit - Not allowing energy to linger towards the N. Who by the way, lives only 5 houses from us... Quite a challenge I was presented with... But a challenge I am indeed grateful for. Really need to practice angry detachment now with a strong heart. Not to be absorbed!!!!!!!

Joe, if you have any insight on narcissism and w!tchcraft, please share. Alternative spiritual practices especially ones that allow you to manipulate reality or control others is definitely something that they’re likely to entertain. It would be especially appealing to the covert as in most cases they’ll go undetected while wrecking havoc. Ways to confirm and Ways to combat would be greatly appreciated.

In all honesty yes. Despite the surprise ending, the ghosting and being portrayed as the crazy one. When it was good it was really good. It’s impossible to just discard all of the good things, especially when you have given your whole heart to them. Love and hate are the same side of the same coin. Both are full of passion. As time has passed the anger and the hurt subsides. We tend to paint people with mental health issues as evil, but we forget that they are human. And they do have feelings just the same as everyone else, but the expression of those feelings are different. They didn’t ask to be that way… Do their behaviors hurt others, you bet! I just believe we have to separate the person from the behavior. We don’t view our children as evil when they act out, rather we respond to correct the behavior but we still love the child… 70x7 times we are asked to forgive for those who are of the faith.
