Necrozma dawn wings is one of the worst cover legendary pokemon ever in competitive singles due to how very poorly it is designed. As a cover legendary, necrozma dawn wings is automatically rated an ubers tier pokemon since it is too strong for the ou tier. However necrozma dawn wings is not good at all in the tier it is supposed to be good in, despite some great qualities it has going for it. this pokemon is literally considered unviable in every single generation of ubers and as a result sees no usage in any tier of competitive play. There was however a glimpse of hope for this pokemon: the new ubers uu tier, a tier specifically designed for outliers like necrozma dawn wings. If you are unaware, the ubers uu tier is a tier under the ubers tier that is created to give pokemon that are too good for ou, but bad in ubers a place to shine. Necrozma dawn wings was actually the most used pokemon in this tier last month with about a 50% usage rate. Finally a place for this pokemon to see some play. Unfortantely, it recently got banned through a suspect test with a 60.9% ban majority, only barely missing out on staying in the tier and now this pokemon is back to being useless. So what makes necrozma dawn wings such a terrible pokemon in the ubers, but so good that it got banned from the ubers uu tier?
