I realize this may sound heartless to many, but as a parent myself, the masses of Israeli and Jewish children and the children’s children are more important than the hostages. And, I believe the hostages themselves would agree with me and would choose to sacrifice their lives for their children’s and their children’s children’s lives. I weep over the hostages horrific deaths and ongoing suffering, but Netanyahu has made the courageous decisions for the current and ongoing survival of the hostages, Israeli and Jewish communities children and their children’s children for generations to come.

Indeed. One thing that has always frustrated me is the Israeli capitulation vis a vis hostages. They guarantee the future taking of hostages because they always make them so valuable as to comprimise their real long term security. It always results in their giving up way too much and stopping short of eradicating their enemies. It perpetuates their struggles and insures more hostages will be taken again in the future. So very stupid it must be deliberate on their part.
