The burst of speed Milroe has is truly one of a kind. When he decides to keep it and puts his foot in the ground on those RPO’s the acceleration is unmatched. If the guy can be an average passer he will be a Heisman contender for sure

Yea it was against weak competition but how was Milroe last year against weak competition? He didn’t look as good as he did against western Kentucky. He never threw on the run perfect passes especially when he could have taken off and gained a good bit. Against western Kentucky he did twice dang near perfect passes kept his eyes downfield to even when he was about to turn upfield. Usually when he is about to run he runs or he throws an ugly ball. He was running then saw open receivers and two damn near perfect passes. I never saw that last year. He use to have to stop and throw and even then it was ugly. And he hardly ever ran and then threw it. If he can keep doing that defenses won’t know what to do. Especially when most guys were saying they were gonna hang with bama or beat em lol.

Running quarterbacks are a liability. First thing they're prone to injuries and that's not exactly what you want with the extended playoff season brackets. Also when the going gets tough and you need to pass downfield accurately in a 2-minute offense do or die situation... All that running around is useless. Ty Simpson is the better quarterback. He's got the wheels but he also has the pocket presence along with mid-range accuracy. We have running backs for a reason.... We don't need one throwing the ball also. I bet against USF Jalen throws at least two interceptions....

Nope Jalen still has a lot of the same problems. What you folks aren't remembering is jalen DOES NOT want to be a running qb therefore thats always gonna be his last option. He will see 30 yds of green but he'll try n sit in the pocket instead and he will end up getting sacked. If there arent wide open receivers we are sol. Who wants to plat receiver on this team? Run 20 routes and only get targeted once or twice? And block every other play? Screw that. Everyone wants to eat. All of this will be glaring against good defenses
